She accepted his answer with a shrug of her own and stashed the glasses in her bag, along with the tequila and they headed out of his room and up to the roof. It felt good, the breeze was nice and Faye put her hair down so her neck wouldn’t get cold. She sat down on the roof and pulled out the glasses and the tequila. Once her drink was in her hand, she took a sip and felt the burn going all the way down to the pit of her empty stomach.
When Stiles asked her what she was doing, she looked at him mid sip before swallowing down another gulp of the hot liquid. It wasn’t like she wanted to talk about it. What good did it do? She didn’t know what to think and she didn’t know how to feel. Jake said she should just get over it and she knew that things happened back home – but that was different. It was nothing like this. Salem fucked with her hardcore and now it was only her who could pull herself out. She was a lot better than she was, but it wasn’t as if she didn’t think about it all the time.
“Thinking about how much I hate this fucking town,” she said honestly and looked ahead. Just because Faye was a badass most of the time with her little digs and she dripped with sexual energy, she was still just a teenage girl. She didn’t have all the fucking answers and she didn’t know life. She was from a freaking small town in Washington and she was a witch. That didn’t give her a release to be able to handle everything that came her way.
“I think I murdered people,” she said and she wasn’t even drunk yet. Like – who cared? Really. It wasn’t like she could change anything and it wasn’t like she was turning herself into anyone. But she did look at Stiles. “Like, not intentionally. Or maybe it was.” She took another sip of her drink and literally pouted. “Either way, I liked it. And now I have weird dreams and I think about it all the time.” She looked at Stiles, as if to somehow convey to him to not say anything, but in the end, it didn’t fucking matter. Whatever. “I woke up as a vampire, so obviously I needed blood. I wasn’t going to kill a cat or anything.”
