He had closed his eyes, he had accepted that he'd lost all hope and was prepared to just sit there and take whatever came once the sun came up. Unfortunately not everyone, or at least once person didn't share in his thoughts about how to rid himself of this agony. No, one person thought to add to it.
It was the man's scent, his voice, he could tell he was coming before he sat down. Hunting the way he had been had allowed him to become one with his senses more than he had ever allowed himself back home. Maybe even too much, maybe he had let things go on for too long and too far while he was out there. It wasn't his first night, his first time out there either. He was just getting tired of it now. Tired of not being satisfied.
He kept his eyes closed for now, trying to concentrate. He had no will to harm the other vampire, or any other downworlder for that matter. What he craved now was something so much more dangerous than that, and he didn't feel like he could stop himself for much longer either. "What's bothering me? Really? Is that the best that you can come up with right now?" He snorted a little, half in disgust, half because he knew his own reply was no better. He could just barely think straight.
