Bonnie nodded, not saying much else on that because she knew if she did, the tears would come and she was already drunk and the ugly cry had to just stay hidden. Besides, she had already done that, when they had first arrived and Elena was here. She sighed softly into her glass before looking over the rim at her friend and just smiled before taking a few more sips and she leaned back in the booth, probably a little too casually, but she didn't care. It was comfortable.
"What?" Bonnie turned her head, not stealthy in the least bit as she looked back at the guy who was looking at them. "Nu uh!" She laughed and looked at Elena. Because Bonnie was pretty sure he was looking at Elena. They always did. Not that she was jealous in the least bit. It was just a fact. Elena was beautiful and she stood out.
"You think so?" Bonnie bit her lower lip and looked back. It had been a long time since she ever felt that rush and in her drunken state, she was right now. She raised her eyebrows and then looked a little surprised. "No, don't do it. What is he doing?"
Bonnie sat back in the booth as Elena saw what was happening. "Why is he coming over here?" Bonnie looked at Elena. "Look what you did!" She was completely loud, but she was trying to hush her excitement and a small bit of fear as the guy they were talking about was now standing beside their table.
"If you're thinking we're going to sing again, that's a no on that," Bonnie said and nodded, looking up at him. Elena was right, he did have a nice smile. He looked like a nice guy. And nice guys just didn't last. Not that Bonnie was deserving of some asshole, but her life was hectic. And why the hell was she even thinking about that.
Blue drinks were the worst.
"Hi." She smiled, looking up at him. As if she hadn't just already talked to him.
