If you build it, they will...well, eat your soap probably.
Slowly oozing back into the swing of things...

To help get the creative juices percolating (and inspired by the hilarious tribulations of Mr. Tanek Horváth) I offer the following bit of fluff: Leave a character name in the comments below and I'll tell you how Fisher's rabid rambunctious automata intruded on their life (or just their laundry).

Whether you want to keep the incident as IC or OOC imagining is up to you. :)

Van + The Skeleton Key(chain)

Three words, my friend: (re)animated catfish skeleton.

…with legs. It looked like a silver coated set of bones but with a surprisingly tooth-y mouth. Fisher claimed it was created to help keep track of her keys. Unfortunately, it did so by finding whatever bag – or pocket – the keys were in and clamping on with the aforementioned teeth. Also it wasn't that great at identifying which ones were Fisher's keys.

The boney little nightmare spent a week chasing Van and hanging onto his keys – or whichever pocket he was carrying them in.

Derrick

Derrick – A two-headed brass lizard. It was about the size of a sneaker and was created for the sake of finding and fetching small components like loose screws. It got a little too ambitions though; the canny bastard would sneak out and eat whatever tiny screws and bolts it found unsupervised, spitting them back up on Fisher's desk.

After it raided Derrick's room once (or twelve times) too often, she reprogrammed it to recognize Derrick as an "owner" like her. The good news is that it then stopped stealing from Derrick. The bad news is that it started stealing for Derrick.

Kent

Kent – Look, if there's one person who'd adore Fisher's "little brats'" shenanigans, it'd be our resident supernatural Paracelsus. Right? Right?.

So he could be anything other than thrilled about Fisher's shower ferret.

It's hard to say exactly what was Fisher's…thought…process when creating a porcelain rodent to carry shampoo or hold her toothbrush, but nonetheless Bubbles came into existence. (And was still less upsetting than Fisher's attempt at a "bath shark".)

Unfortunately, Bubbles went active during the month that Kent and Fisher used the same toothpaste brand. It's likely they weren't the only two people using that brand then but for some reason Bubbles was particularly upset by Kent's "infringement". As revenge it gnawed Kent's toothpaste tube at every opportunity. And when you're an enchanted ferret automaton that doesn't sleep, eat, or respect locks, every hour is an opportunity.

Every.

Goddamn.

Hour.

Blake – The mice. Oh, man, the mice. Fisher's patchwork mice were a colorful bundle of tiny teeth, shiny button eyes, and multicolored tails. They looked like little rodent Harlequins – and they were absolutely f*cking everywhere.

Even Fisher lost track of exactly how many of the pint-sized quilted Frankensteins were sent running around the halls. (Or at least she was stalwart about never admitting the real number.) Their purpose was…eh. Well, nobody actually knows. No, not even Fisher. It's possible she made the first couple to practice her stitching and then just kept sewing. They were relatively harmless as far as Fisher's creations go; they didn't gnaw on anything, didn't steal anything, didn't cause anybody to vault out of the bath (re: the "bath shark") but they were so ever-present than it was uncanny.

It got even worse when some people started adopting them as pets.
