[The battle continues, friend against friend, lover against lover and team against team. Staring down at it all, the King's face seems unusually haggard, hairline fractures forming every time another bracer shatters for those who watch closely.

It's every now and then, with no regular pattern or strength, you hear something rumble, followed by the ground under your feet shuddering.

But this really isn't the time to worry about that, is it? You hear a snap of fingers, and those who have been blessed by the King feel the quiet thrum of power, electricity at their fingertips.]

how much are you struggling with that arm?

because I am trying my hardest here, and working as fast as I can.

also I might have kind of been created to be pretty resistant to things taking over my body like that. I don't know, it's not like I remember that part yet, but. Nowhere near strong enough to resist forever, but for a little while...]

[well, his movements are certainly slowed, as though he's fighting it. But he's one determined little moonkid.

Still trying to tear that bracer off, by the way. If you're not really, really struggling, he's probably got a decent enough grip...]

[Before doing anything else, I am stabbing the bracer with my flutesaber so that I can make sure it's destroyed and can't do anything to you anymore.

Back home, there's this really scary demon called Akuro. I don't remember everything, but like, he was really strong, and if he got the blood of this other demon called Orochi, he'd be even stronger, pro'lly impossible to beat.

...he got it. And I... I was a coward back then, and I joined him. But Dude didn't, he kept fighting, so at some point...
