[Kururu's song is already filling the space between them, twining with the sound of Ikki's heartbeat as . . . uh . . . clothing . . . goes elsewhere.

It's easy to catch the thread of it, feel the pull of the regalia, the link just waiting to be formed. And Kururu's song is familiar, a prayer heard countless times in the distance . . . ]

[She settles in, giving in to the regalia's pull and completing the link easily as she takes up a harmony to the song]

[There's a moment of . . . not surprise, exactly, more like curiosity as Yayoi's eyes open into the not-world of the Infinite Scale. Kururu floats there, the parts of Ikki's A-T swirling and assembling around her.

The song reaches out to her.]

Here, did you know this? Let me show you . . .

[She startles at first, the link wavering for a moment as she takes in the sudden change in scenery and . . . well. In reality.]

I . . . no. This is my first time.

[Their eyes . . . Yayoi's eyes open to the outside world, scanning the crowd for that familiar sound colour presence as they . . . as she loops the strap of the cross over her shoulder, settling it against her back.]

Not your first. Just your first with support.

This is— You're helping me now?

Why not? They're important to each other, and you're important to me.

[And there's an echo, in that song, of the warmth of Ikki's body, the rhythm of his heart, the feel of metal and oil on her fingers.]

I mean even with moving . . . It's surprising.

[She focuses on that for a moment, smiling to herself, and then turns her attention outwards for the familiar hum of a more vicious pair of wheels]

[The harmony shifts to an unexpectedly more confident tone for a moment :|a And Yayoi (or rather, they??) start forward, beckoning Agito closer to meet in the middle]

No, we can't.

[The sound of the wheels makes it to the infinite scale, breaking down into strings of information, the information forming into parts, component after component resting within Yayoi's grasp even before he reaches her.]

It's your lead. I'll be your support.

[You'd think out here, he'd be shier about this, but no. With the Regalia behind you, you can actually hear him relax, pulse calm, muscles unclench, the most fine and finite changes in the sound of the wheels as he stops and then settles in front of you.]

She's singing right now too.

I'm going to increase the power output on the second gyroscopic stabilizer. You'll be able to make sharper turns, and it shouldn't affect horizontal movement enough to be a handicap.

[Her hands fly through another set of adjustments, parts almost weightless as they're moved, turned, realigned.]

[Ikki is touching my hair . . .kyaa.

Turns so she's half in his lap, half leaning against him . . . taking an extra second just to feel the echoing pulse of his heartbeat through her body, the two sounds mingling into one.]

Endurance output is decreased, but you'll have a boost on acceleration, too . . . I'll need to change it back before you run through the tunnels again.

Yeah . . . I'll make sure to come by so you can change it back.

[this close, it's easy to just give in to certain things . . . he isn't embarrassed, he's hyped up on adrenaline and pre-battle excitement, so it doesn't take much to wait until she glances up, to lift her chin just enough to lean and kiss her, soft and a little hesitant and the tiniest bit awkward, but there's no mistaking it for anything but]

[There . . . really isn't any mistaking it for anything else at all. Or mistaking the intent, or the . . . feelings . . .

Somewhere, in the place she's sharing with Yayoi, her face heats.

Here, only the barest fraction of a second passes before she turns her face up into it, kissing him back.]

[There is plenty of nervous flailing it's just not in any place he can see. Her hands move almost on autopilot, reassembling the casing . . . and it's a second past her promised minute, then two, then three

and he's still kissing her

and it's really nice

Congratulations! Make sure he never forgets this~
