	[Sits opposite him.] The powers I have are actually an infection. The monsters I fight at home spread themselves through cell phones and infect people that way. ... No. I've made too many good friends here to be able to go home and live my life happily knowing that some of them will be dead or unable to return to their own worlds. How many people here do you think are here because of a matter of life and death? How many people who have left before us have already used their wish to wish themselves or a loved one back to life?

I'm probably already dead back home. Scowl doesn't plan on leaving this place alive. You're saying you're going to turn into a monster and we're all going to forget you? I can't ... I can't accept that. Any of it.

I still don't remember what it was originally, no. But I've been here for such a long time now... we've been through so much together, how can I turn my back on that and just go live my own life knowing there's something I could have done?

I mean... I've remembered a significant amount at this point. Even if I don't remember everything, even if I don't know for sure what the catalyst that caused me to come here was, if there's anything I've learned from what I have remembered, it's that I have to move forward. My past is ... in the past. And I accept that. There is no selfish wish I could make to change it that I could honestly say is more important than the lives of my friends in the here and now.
