[In the time when others have been out talking, there's been a minor decorative change to Delpavo's main shared living space. It looks like all of Pavo's blankets and pillows have been amassed between the two curving staircases—spread over chairs and stools and hung from lines tied between the banisters to form an airy, panelled tent.

Through the open flap waits a small pile of combs and brushes, more than a few mechanical parts and tools, cups of warmed root milk and a small tray of bite-sized morsels.

And spreading the last of the pillows on the mattresses and boards covering the floor is Feathers, humming softly to herself.]

	Ah... well... maybe they'd know something to help him. I have a couple of plans, though... I think I can use my wish to put things right--everything, not just Al. And if not that... This much... I had to pay this to pull only his soul back, I'd have to pay much more to bring his entire body out. More than there is of me. Before all this, I was searching for something called a Philosopher's Stone, that was said to boost an alchemist's power and let them do things that were otherwise unimaginable. But when I--when we found out what it was, we couldn't use it.

	From what I've remembered... and from what Hohenheim told me... the wars have been to expand the borders, and "carve a crest of blood on the land," to replicate what happened before, in Xerxes, but on a larger scale.
