[As Ed does, the influence suddenly cuts off, muffled to only a few inches of distance at a time and even that begins to fade...

Izaya feels it first, the closing off abruptly stops the CONSTANT pushing and pulling, the influence, piling on top of itself. What remains settles having found a deep root in him, but so minor in comparison it's almost unnoticeable, dropping back down into his own sanity, finally.

Those on Cepheus and Lacerta feel it soon after, draining away to almost nothing but a few lingering impulses... Ophiuchus' settle, dissipating in slow waves...]

It was relatively easy. Guardian was asleep. I found the disc in the mural on the wall of Guardian's chambers. I do believe Ophiuchus was effected when I removed the disc but beyond that, I have no knowing how things are there. It won't be long before they narrow it down to me and one other.

This is why I did not tell anyone when I would be making the attempt. And why I struggled to keep from saying things out of doors. Cepheus, Lacerta, and Delphinus can claim ignorance of what I possessed. I was simply here because I knew there were people who would feed me when I was hungry. Queen can't very well accuse you of plotting with me if she has no evidence of our plotting.

I myself will hole up with another blank team--you don't have to worry about the where, but I should be there before it's too late. If Guardian finds out quickly what happened and who he needs to come for, then he will be moving the troops--that is, Ophiuchus--to search for him--that is, me.

Queen's influence is still embedded, so she may be able to track my movements if I don't move at the proper time.
