No, but... it's frightening. By now I've remembered a lot of things, Franz. Not all of it-- I know that there are still a few significant chunks missing. But I've also recalled my fair share of unpleasantness. And yet, not even fixing the absolute worst thing I've recalled to date seems bad enough to merit coming to a place like this. ... It's terrifying, if you think of it that way. I'm ... frightened by my own past. By the thought of what could lie in wait in the next memory I regain. Some memory contains the clue to why I'm here, and it's bad enough that I'm in a place like this.

I don't know what lies ahead for us, Albert, but being frightened of something that has already happened in our past will only burden you even more. This place is dangerous and bad news without a doubt, and there might be a lot of things I don't know about yet. However, the important things is that you should never lose sight of who you are.
