[A Funeral Feast and Celebration]

[SO after much work all morning, finally a feast is laid out in their dining hall.

There are a variety of appetizers, both vegetable and meat, there are a few savory pies and flat breads with toppings, modest dinner-roll type breads and improvised spreads to go on them. There's soup, both creamy and not, though none of a variety that is too heavy, as the main course, a whole round roast of fatty lizard, is quite heavy enough on it's own. There's drippings to use as gravy and simple blanched veggies to cut up the taste. There's even small dessert jellies flavored with tentacle fruit and edible flowers sitting in a clean pot in the cold water basin for later.]

It is about then that a squidrat climbs up onto a bottle of deep amber liquor and pours it into the glasses again with amazing- if not impossible - dexterity.]

[Between Zero and Link, a pale, boney hand languidly reaches past them. The fingers click as they circle one of the glasses and pulls it back out of sight.

The voice is rich and warm, with a touch of laughter around the edges of it.] My, my. Why, I almost never thought I'd be hearin' dis from here 'gain.

[For those who've died, you can see the man in black sitting in the open seat, leg crossed, jacket prim and proper, and hat sitting low. He flashes a bright smile at them, cheeks rounding with the size of the grin.

He leans back and puffs on a large cigar, the smoke curling out around him, smelling like tobacco and cherries.
