[A pause, just a beat.]

But easier.

Easier but messier, don't you think?

We'd have quite a few teammates who'd claim that the mess is half of the appeal itself.

On Uroboros?

I think it depends on the mess. Personally, you know I never like the more visible things.

Universally.

Then why not leave it? You'll just be ruining your own speculation. It's likely to be disappointing anyway.

That would be going against my nature, wouldn't it?

When there's not just a lock, but a Judge... I'd consider your nature self destructive.

[lol]

Either way, it's more fun for me.

Do what you want, then. I've got nothing to do with it, after all.

I would hope not. Your clumsy behavioral patterns would get the prize taken away.

[He snorts.]

It's better just to ask what it is and find another way at it. Your way limits your options.

Ah, but just going around asking how it can be done will tip people off that I want into it that badly, doesn't it? And the more people who know, the more troublesome it gets. I would hate for someone to get the solution before I did, after all.

It also doesn't help that I can't know who's the honest sort in this team. Let alone knowing which is the clumsiest. Though I honestly think that would be you at this point.

I can count the honest sort on this team on one goddamn hand.

And yet, here you are still babbling about it.

That's another part of my nature, isn't it?

Pecha pecha~ [makes a mouth with his hand, opening and closing it]

It's all I ever do.

[A smirk.]

Pecha pecha. And hope that someone clumsy just handles picking the safe, and you'll just swoop in after you're sure the prize is what you want.

[... and he turns to leave, a faint shaking of his head.]

To discover the traps built into it and draw off attention of anyone else who'd want in, and then leave them with nothing.

It's amazing how uninterested I am.

You say that as if you're never uninterested.

I don't believe I do.

But you've got that constipated look on your face. Are you sure you're not confused about something?

Like I said, my approach is to get information and try from another angle.

Right now I don't have the tools for that. [Idle wave back at the safe.]

A trade.
