	King sat back as a whole team got destroyed, the grounds going crazy and I heard about how last time the Judge's abandoned everyone. Arson nearly got eaten. Well, we have the why established. Here's the "how" and the "what next."

Kanou Taisuke made a contract with his name. This contract binds him to the will of every Judge here. We're going to break that.

Quite up front about this, I've never done this. I'm fairly certain you can work out why. If it's discovered, I daresay the end of this game will happen very shortly after both you and I are killed for it.

You must continue following orders, until it IS time to break away, and my dear, please be assured that you will know it when it happens.

[And that feeling just outside your skin arcs INWARD all at once. Lighting rushes through your nerves and wind through your veins. All of your muscles seize up, as if rejecting it ineffectually.

Your mind goes white for a moment, completely and utterly blank before... like a film skipping on the projector, the room jumps and refocuses.

You can feel it happen, consciously. The memories you've taken start to flatten... they become more like something you've watched than what you've experienced...

But what remains, what sharpens to almost painful intensity is how you felt about them at the time you took them, the people around you when you did. The missions you've run, the Judges you've talked to. Life HERE, becomes the only thing that feels... real.

Any dissonance, any disconnect is all gone.

And at last, no matter how you fish for it, no matter what memory you replay or consider, you just.. can't grasp that name you used to have. Orange (and... quite a few others) comes up every time.]
