Who: Any
Where: The Arena
When: Day 234
What: Good Ends

[The Call that resounds from the Arena is loud, echoing to every part of Sabra. A regal crescendo of notes and then anticipatory silence. Should you follow it today, the Arena is that strange darkened landscape again...

Simple darkness fills your vision, no delineation between up and down, walls or even the floor. You can only see the throne in the far off distance, and three pathways each covered with a lush carpet: Red, Black and Dark Blue. One bears the sigil of a compass, pointing the way confidently, another a skeletal serpent reaching up into a cup and the the last, the canny dog embossed into the weave. Should you turn around, there is no exit yet, but there is a small table, filled with punch, and several large party platters filled with a cheese and dip platter.]

[However, should you follow any of the pathways, the landscape begins to change...]

[Shrugs.] We've always been more for functional and Royal was the only one with any real artistic ability.

Well, he is the king of all kitchens, after all.

[He missed something then?] King of all kitchens? Did he say that?

[laughs]

No, no, Night did!

... [Chuckles.]

Well, the few times I've gotten to eat, it did taste good.

Few times? I thought he always took care of cooking.

He does.

I'm not around meal times usually because I don't eat.

That sounds like the most terrible thing.

Well, I can eat. I just don't need it and I'm not quite sure what would happen if I ate a lot.

So it's really just better to let everyone else eat their fill. [Especially with Night.]

That generous of you!

[Sudden compliment. Buwah.]

Ah, well, it just...seems the logical choice.

It is, but it's still a generous thing to do! Especially when Royal's cooking is so good!

[Buwah, why repeat? Now he just looks embarrassed.]

It is, but I'm fine. I prefer that everyone was as full as they could be.

Oh, what an incredibly nice person! I am amazed by your kindness!

[Geh. I am not used to this without being incredibly dere with the person.]

That...I just...like taking care of people. I was a nurse. [Then a time traveler. Than a roman soldier plastic man.]

Come on, there's no need to get so embarrassed. I was just stating the obvious! But a nurse, eh?

[It's just...how he is. He doesn't think about being kind usually.]

Ah, yeah. I remembered getting my license.

It's not...horrible.

Just other than my death rate being slightly less back home, they all either are or elude to being just as crazy as what can happen here.

Well then, I guess I'll make you my teacher of all crazy things! Since you're the expert, and I don't know much yet.

[Laughs kind of sheepishly.] Expert...The Doctor might be good for that. When he remembers more and if he is actually The Doctor. He's the one who brought Amy and me on our crazy life adventures.

I am the oldest Lynx too, so I guess that helps.
