... Right.

So ... back to what we were originally talking about ... long story short ... basically, Flowers was the only Judge powerful enough, crazy enough and high enough up on the Judge hierarchy who would agree to and have the capabilities to protect Vulpecula from Her. It got to the point where She was taking one of your teammates away to play with every few days. So something had to be done. That's why.
