Who: Any
Where: At the base of the great mountain
When: King's Year 199, early autumn
What:

[The great mountain is the largest mountain on the content known as the First Land. It is a marker that can be seen over most of the lands of Pyxis and Canis for its inspiring height. The crystal city, in all of its marvels is built into the western side of it, perhaps a fourth of the way up in a valley between it and the nearest mountain.

Its peak is obscured by the clouds, and no traveler or climber ascending to its great top has ever come back alive, leading most to simply accept that it was a dwelling place of the Gods and thus, no place for man or his ilk.

Today, at its base, a priest is pouring over detailed construction plans that seem to shift and expand under their own magic as he pens in the countries and supplies as they come in.

Great flags of black are set in an enormous circle, stretching out of sight in an enormous circle, and far into the lands that are considered Pyxis.

A great deal of shelters are set up, most tent at the moment, within the circle. Food and water getting the first stone structures erected and thus far are without guard.

A young Ophiuchus of Caduceus cut greets you as you approach, and waves you to the table that the hooded, red lined priest sits.]

His excellency has requested you report directly to him. Please hurry and send your representative.

[Watching the meeting as well as they can from their post.

They stop, only to talk to people as they wander by, and a few quick exchanges with the Vulpecula wanderers as they see them.. but as G returns, their attention is refocused quite quickly.]

... What does he say?

He says he's either a useless messenger or he's holding out information on us.

According to him the Word of the Gods is that we'll be able to leave by the Spring, but that hinges on whatever they've got planned. Either he doesn't want to tell me what it is, or he doesn't know either.

Spring...

I... that would be nice. Do you really think?

. . . If the Gods truly have a plan, then . . . what choice do we have but to have faith in them?

I'm willing to.... ... Acacia wouldn't have sent us this way if she wasn't sure.

Still wish we could know more.

Maybe we will as we go ahead?

... I figure even with our people being our people, we're still going to be spending a lot of time organizing our set up.

... We need a tent for Vade's books. I promised him.

Maybe . . .

. . . If the priest lets us. Is he going to guard it too?

... He stayed behind for now.

He said he'd follow if things became dire.
