Who: Bunnycorn
Where: Lepus and Monoceros
When: King’s Year 199, summer
What:

[It’s always a shame to lose one or your hideous abominations of science. They were created not just with long nights and spare parts, but with hopes and dreams. From the “It’s alive!” moment to the first peasant it devours, each monster carries many fond memories of its own uniquely accursed existence.]

[But they’re all dying now; not due to angry mobs or plucky heroes with swords going snickety-snack, but simply poor environmental adaption. You really should have weatherproofed them better. And with Lepus’s primary predators on the decline, a new creature has stepped up to fill the niche: the Lepus lepus, a soft, woobie-eyed bunny with large ears and big feet and sharp, pointy teeth. These days it seems like you can barely walk outside without stepping on one (or two, as there is a reason for their rapid reproduction rate).]

[They’ve invaded the neighboring country of Monoceros as well, but Monoceros has a far greater disaster on their hands. Before they knew it, they had the greatest supply of vinegar in all the land. That’s what happens when all your booze goes bad.]

If it were nice and cool, we might be able to entertain ourselves a little, hm?

I'm sure we'll find it nicer than up here, much cooler and much more secluded.

[if Umnis permits him, he's going to try steering him over to the lift, which hasn't been used in a while, since Mikhail stays mostly on the top three floors, (the main hall, the master suite, and the lab, all the rooms in his place existing bizarrely on their own floor, like a precarious stack of library books completely unsorted by size) and the stairs are less of a hassle than waiting for the lift to come up from whichever floor it was last at]

That was my thought as well.

[most certainly allowing it :')]

[the lift rattles up and arrives on their floor, though with the way Mikhail's been jamming that button, it took far too long for his tastes, though he's not really very patient in the first place. once it opens up, he presses the button for second to last]

[...tries to remember what's on the LAST floor, if he's been there before]

[it's the site of the failed revival of Augusta, which Mikhail never bothered cleaning up or making someone else clean up, so there's still sigils and scratched in and painted on the floor and a lot of bloodstains. Mikhail wouldn't have showed it to you himself, but if you've gone looking around the place on your own you might have found it, he hasn't sealed it off.]
