Who: some guy idk
Where: the river near Cepheon
When: Day 196, earrrly morning
What:

[Out at the tailend of the river this morning, there is a man in old-fashioned Orion yellow (though it's pretty dirty at the moment) without a bracer, who was making his way south. Only now he's stopped to stare at the river in a manner that suggest he thinks he'll work out what it is if he looks at it long enough.

Hint: this is not going to happen.]

I was hoping you'd catch on without the need for it. But it doesn't matter, this will do. What I was trying to say was, I'd appreciate it if we pretended neither Royal nor I had ever been to the cave or seen the mural.

...Why?

The black team questioned Royal about it specifically. He implied to them that we knew practically nothing about it.

If they ask, I do not intend to tell them anything of that place, let alone who I may have seen there.

I thought that might be the case, but I wanted to be sure. I don't know what kind of relationship other teams have to Ophiuchus.

It's not Ophiuchus that I'm worried about, it's who they report to.

Is there anything stopping them from searching out the cave themselves?

Probably only the fact that they do not know where to find it.

How did we find it in the first place?

Red found it during a game that altered peoples' personalities. I think it was more chance than anything else.

Let's hope the black team aren't so lucky.

That said, why are we keeping it a secret? It doesn't seem like particularly dangerous knowledge to me.

Worry over punishment. King reacted very strongly to one of the Old Woman's appearances that hinted at more information about this place. They don't seem to want us to know any more than is presented to us.

If it didn't matter to the Judges at all, I don't think they would be asking after it now.

If they don't know anything about it except that it's a secret, of course they're going to try and find out about it. But I'll trust the judgement of the teams who've been here long enough to know that it would be better for them not to find out.

...I think it's just to be safe. We are already in a lot of trouble.
