If the memory is correct, I come from a long line of vampire hunters. Part of the family bloodline I guess. My parents were, and my grandparents before me probably were too, and so on and so forth. I remember having a teacher, even when I was maybe six or seven, teaching my brother and I the basics... how to recognize vampires, their weaknesses, how to handle them. It was regulated, the relationship between the Hunters and the vampires... I'm a little foggy on that though.

When I was very young, I tried to be more understanding of the things we hunted, but it always ended up poorly.
