People who have been in the pillar are scared of the ground. There was a Pyxis girl once. She said things like.

He's going to eat me.

Ah, and the mural too. It shows the ground, a volcano, opening up and eating the Judge.

Its a possibility but the worst one, because what can you fucking do if the ground wants to eat us? It is EVERYWHERE.

And more than that--we buried a skeleton we found once. We tried to dig it up again later but. The ground turned to pure solid rock around it, impossible to break through.

The ground IS bad. ...hopefully I'm wrong though and its not. As bad as I'm thinking.
