[It's some time of walking, there's no branching of the tunnels, but it does widen significantly as you continue, far past the last point you encountered a migratory herd. A faint acrid smell is in the air, but it seems distant enough.

... And your first sign of something passing is something having PASSED a whole lot of something. It's... pretttty fresh droppings about knee high... fortunately, there's enough space to get around them.]
