[Scattered around the roof of Hydra are several crude tools made of bone, leather and stone and a few papers with rather technical designs on it. Claude's handiwork, for any staring at them, might be recognizable and lays largely untouched, however, in the margins, on the back, on several adjoining sheets are designs on implementing THOSE plans. Equations, materials, notes on experiments and results... all scattered throughout the pages in several handwritings and more than one language.

This obviously hasn't been an overnight project, nor anywhere near completed either...

However, what may have grabbed your attention is the groan of wood as they crank back the catapult for another test.]

... That might be the limit.. adjust the tension or just wait until we can really mess with the angle?

	It really would. Wood more than anything . . . for things like this, you could re-cast the fittings if they warped, but as soon as the strain on the beams is too much . . . that's really it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
