How many people do you think have recognized you?

Two so far. From that Lacerta team.

I wonder why it's Lacerta.

[shrugs]

Who knows. It probably would have been just as confusing on any other team.

It doesn't matter much now.

Even the smallest details are important. The alliances and rivalries of the past shape our futures.

[...blinks at that]

It's good to have allies, yes, but I thought our teams were the most important?

How do you plan to defend them?

. . .

Do I need to make a weapon?

Do you know how to make a weapon?

. . .no, but I know they are things you protect others with.

It's better to use persuasion to reach a mutually beneficial conclusion.

Why not use both? Though I won't argue that talking things out seems logical.

Each choice causes a chain of changes. Fight someone, and it will change how the other person approaches you in the future. That will affect how his teammates approach you, which will affect how other teams approach both of your teams, and so on.

[thiiiiinks]

Those changes don't necessarily have to be bad, do they? If you fought someone and won, you prove your strength and earn their respect, right? Their teammates' opinions would be swayed too.

It might turn out that way. Or they might realize they can't beat you alone, so they ask their teammates to help them overcome you. And if you overcome that, the teams may unite--against you.

An endless cycle and power struggle. . ..you're right, it's best avoided.

Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.
