There are other weapons that I've seen people hunting with like spears, but it's not something I'm familiar with using. We won't go too far in, so there may not be that much, but I don't want to run into one of the raptors with you along. I don't think it would do much for our teams if anything happened to you while you were with me.

Abilities differ in this place. A human hunter might be a better teacher for you. If you do go for them like this though, hitting just behind the skull is a quick and relatively painless method of killing them. It severs the spine... though occasionally the entire head comes off as well.
