[So apparently Soujirou's reaction to Shiki dying is running away 8|. And Shiki is in some kind of COMA THING 8|. And my vampire got turned to dust again and had to revive from that 8|. And Link missed all of this because he was taking too much time to recover from hiatus adventures 8|.

This calls for a dorm vigil I guess. Link hasn't left Delphinus since he found out what happened to Shiki, ignoring things like magical leaving parties.]

I don't know, mon. At home . . . it was eat or be eaten. De answer was clear, ja? But it's not like dat here. If I eat, den people dat weren't gwon try to kill me die. If I don't eat . . . people die anyways. Dat's not a very good choice, ja?

I think . . . dat it's worse to let myself lose control. Den, I could hurt anyone. Even my own comrades. I'm lucky dat I didn't do dat dis time.
