ANNOUNCEMENTS
Thank you for the awesome chat guys, and sorry it took so long to get this update up.

۞ First of all, let's talk about changes in memory distribution! After trying out multiples in the recent game, we ultimately decided that it was pretty trying on the game runners themselves. Therefore, instead of offering multiple memories, we opting for now to do the Ophiuchus method. This will be ICLY INTRODUCED ON THURSDAY with the rankings change. (The multiple memories thing can be blamed ICly on Mirror being hungover and also crazypants.)
So how is this going to work? Here's the OOC details:
۞ Any game you run with memories MUST be dedicated to the King out loud in some way.
۞ Memories from Ophiuchus should be trivials or neutrals at most! (We're really trying to target those newer characters or those who've just never GOTTEN many memories here, so those without trivials or neutrals left are LIKELY pretty close to finishing off their registry as is.)
۞ Any minigame or solo mission you run, you can give memories OR items (as not to exclude those characters who are reaching MEMORY LIST THRESHOLD)
۞ SOLO MISSIONS - you can target to teams who haven't won in a while. (TEAMS LIKE THIS, feel free to ask Ophiuchus for a solo mission.) Like normal solo missions the team arranges with the mission giver what they want individually, they just now have an option of MEMORY PLEASE instead of an item. This allows opt in and opt out.
۞ MINIGAMES - for reasons of logistics, memories given out in team versus team minigames are restricted to participants who show up and are there to tell the game runner YES OR NO. Otherwise it's take home prizes, and using solo missions for full team coverage.
۞ As an addenda for above, we'd like to encourage a variety of time coverage so the moontimers get their slice of the pie too. Moontime Ophis are highly encouraged to run minigames even / especially if the timing isn't optimal for all the suntime folk. They get their pick of appropriately timed games already.


That said, we are tweaking the way memories are returned slightly, mostly in ways that a lot of people have already been doing:

۞ PRIORITIZE YOUR MEMORIES! Feel free to highlight or mark the ones you super want; just make sure that your highlights are clear enough that the game runners can see them easily.
۞ Duds are still a thing you can do! If you are reaching the limits of your list or just don't WANT a memory, put a note about it your registry. IT WILL BE UP TO YOU TO HAVE THAT NOTE UP OR REMOVE IT WHEN YOU WANT MEMORIES AGAIN! The game runner can't take that preference into account if it isn't there.

۞ Please, please keep your memory registries up to date! Not doing this makes the most sloggy part of game-running even more slogtastic, which is no fun for anyone involved. Take the time now to look it over and make sure that everything is squared away, especially if you haven't touched it in a while.


Second! To keep this from being followed by a bunch of separate announcements, a MOD STATUS update!

۞ LADY is getting transferred by her work place, which means a big moving coming up in two months. Her job also has at least four hours a week of mandatory overtime through September- maybe more, and maybe continuing into October. She is also also trying to get together at least one professional demo tape for that voice-acting thing. That makes her availability kind of sketch for the next two months.

۞ NISHI will be vacationing from Saturday until Tuesday. VIVA LAS VEGAS. CITY OF SIN MEET YOUR (temporary) NEW RULER. Otherwise her availability REMAINS AS NORMAL. THE SHOW GOES ON WITH MUCH SPORADIC CAPSLOCKING.

۞ KURURU has evolved! Your Kururu has become an adult! Which is awesome except for a severe hit to weekday free time. She'll be back to at least idling on IRC on or about Sept. 11th (when the last of moving is done and she gets her desktop back), but from here on out will be mostly unreachable Mon-Fri except for a brief three-hour window in the evenings (7-10PM EST).
In the meantime, Clockmaker has graciously agreed to occupy Kururu and Zexion ICly for 'just a few minutes', with dehiatusing hopefully happening around this weekend.

۞ WATANUKI is doing the grad school thing from here on out! Which mostly means she'll be slightly less available during weekday evenings due to getting up early for classes and things. Still very pingable for Ophi memories and derpy questions; just mind the delay if you need her after 1-2 AM EST.
