Hi everybody! (HI DR NICK)I'm Michelle and I'm new-ish. To the game at least, I also bring you the gift of two (for the moment)charies!

The first is teenage!Dean from 4x13 "After School Special."He's Dean...only younger and hasn't had quite as many adventures his older counterpart has had. Deans kind of a new muse for me, so if he sounds off, or if you happen to think he's starting to stray into OOC land, don't heistate to poke me about it until I get the hang of him.

My second new pup is also new, but I've had a little bit of practice with him. Sam Tyler, from the UK version of Life on Mars. He's coming in from the end of season 2 finale.For those unfamilier with Sam? Heres a quick run down.

He's a cop who, after getting into an accident (he got hit by a car), fell into a coma. He also traveled to 1973 and met Gene Hunt, a DCI(Dective Cheif Inspecter). He pretty much tried to fix things that were going to be wrong in his time, until after an ambush on a train he woke up, but wound up jumping off the roof of his building, and thus returned to 1973.

Wow. This is the first post I will be making in this community. I am sad to say that I will be dropping out of the game. I have a lot on my plate this brand new year. Four months of school and then graduation! I wont be able to do any writing, besides assignments. Besides, let's be honest here - I haven't been active here in a very long time.

Thanks to Chrissy for letting me come back here. Sorry for causing you in headaches, thanks to everyone who became my friend or just simply wrote with me. All the best to you in this brand new year and continue writing beautiful words in this community =]

☼ The Halloween party thread is still going strong! Don't be shy to pop your characters in, say hi, and enjoy the party.

☼ We still need character's birthdays so we can finish the new birthday list! Please email the mods at ravenhurst.mods [@] gmail [.] com with their birthdays. If they don't have any canon ones, just make one up for them. We'd like to have all of them by November 29th so that the list can be up by December 1st.

☼ Unfortunately, we had lost a player due to godmodding and other rule breaking activities. Hit up the friend button to stay up to date. Because of this, there have been some rearrangements to the on-campus housing. Check the post to see if your character has been moved.

Hey everyone! Abby here. Just dropping a note because I need to take a semi hiatus. Starting tomorrow night I'll be on the way to Virginia... well... technically I'll be in Queens THEN on my way to Virginia for Nekocon, where I'm giving a panel on the cross cultural pingpong game that Japan and America. This hiatus - with the possible access - lasts until Monday night.

I'm not sure, but I may have some access. We're staying at Embassy Suites so I may have the downstairs computers that I can use, but given that I'm not certain how sure they are, I'm posting this. So I'll definately be calling people and there will be LOTS of pictures. Not as cool as DragonCon, not really that many non-anime celebs there, but I always have a ton of fun.

That being said, I have some new plot ideas that I'll be trying to post when I get back. Can't wait to talk to everyone when I get back! Luv you all!

So here Lucius is :P He comes from Post-Final Battle so he is a lot milder than he used to be. In fact he hates what he did as a DE. He is all for his family and protecting them. Oh he still believes in Blood Purity and everything... he just hates the Dark Lord and the Death Eaters, in fact he will gladly kill them. He's going to be shocked to see everyone still alive and the such too.

Any and all work though I'm a bit AIM shy so I won't IM people first :P

Just wanted to take a moment to say Hi hello and umm stuff... so umm Hi hello and stuff. LOL

Anyway, most of you know me and for the most part we all get along which is awesome! I however know there are a select few here that don't see eye to eye with me and while sometimes that makes me crazy that is completely fine as we are all allowed to have our own things. Having said that, I want to say to everyone, but especially to those that may worry about me becomming a mod here, please don't. Chrissy, Mandy and I have talked in great length about our roles as mods and what each of us will do, none of us have more power than the other and we will not make a cut and dry decision without first fully discussing it as a group and making decision as three not as one. I feel the need to say this because in the past, in this game and another, decisions were made without this commitee type method and it caused some hurt feelings and for that I am truly sorry, on all our behalf.

Now I do want to stress though if a decision is made and a mod brings that decision to you it does not mean you can go to another mod because you don't like how it is presented and try to change their mind, once something is decided it is final unless otherwise stated.

I really am looking forward to being a part of the team here, and a part of the game, (though I have been in game for months) and I am looking forward to the insanity of plot that is coming soon.

The moody mod who is oddly hyper tonight.

I've been on a Forced Unexpected Hiatus!Our modem died middle of the day last Thursday. Here, you have to buy the modem through the cable company (or phone company) but they send it to you through the mail. It came in today and we got it working tonight.


I'll start catching up tomorrow.


No one would have known anything if it hadn't been Gin getting in touch with Stephy and Stephy for passing along the word to the people who spread the word.

I prob should have done this ages ago but I'm going to have to go on hiatus. I've got three weeks left of semester, about six projects/test in that time and then exams so I'm kinda stressed beyond belief atm.

I'm tagging the Sookie thread atm and I'll try and tag when I can but I just don't know how much that will be.

Reality has kicked me but I'm kicking back so I'm tossing my kids into the needing active plots and threads ring. To refresh memory here they are and canon points.

EDWARD "ED" TIVRUSKY IV aka RADICAL EDWARD- Cowboy Bebop and post anime, computer tech for tech services along with freelancing as a tech/white hat hacker and is a computer science major.

LANA LANG- Smallville, aftermath of Lex Luthor storyline, works at the stables and is a business major.

I probably owe a tiny handful of people an explanation as to why I had disappeared from Ravenhurst for the past couple of months. I shall be honest, I lost my muse for my beloved Scott Summers (Cyclopes; Marvel Comics) and for Ares (Greek Mythology). I'm slowly getting back into the groove of things. I have been busy with school and work. I am on my last year of University (hooray!) and I am working hard to reach this goal by next year. There may be times when I disappear, but shall return. I just need to remember to place up a hiatus notice, hehe.

I apologize to anyone I had threads with. I had other things on my plate besides school, which took my time and attention. Hopefully, I can balance all of them this year.

I suppose I will re-introduce my two muses.

Hey, So it has been a while. My name is Abby, and I'm an alcoholic... er... okay wrong meeting. That's next week. (JK.)

Anyway, I believe that I owe an explanation as to my mysterious absence for the last couple of months, and it comes down to stress and the fact that my HP muses have been giving me problems. This is no excuse, but I've been working my very hardest to get over all the stress, current and residual. Its been a long road, and I'm still working on it, but as a friend recently told me, I have play here, and I need to refocus myself a bit. And if nothing else its a REALLY good reason to rewatch Dr. Who to get myself back in proper mindsets. And the best way is to just get back in there and go.

So I'm back with my retinue of characters, open for plot and play. They are:
Emorie Tilden just_try_it, Supernatural OC - owns a garage in town, she's a hunter by training and nature.
Michelle Moon newspaper_brat, Harry Potter - student at the University, witch and soldier, war survivor and general girl next door.
Liam Moon didnt_do_it, Harry Potter - Crazy potions crafter and communications professor extraordinaire. Just ask him about the time he and his friend blew up the potions lab at Hogwarts... if you're a Wizard/Witch that is. His office is always open. He's the father of two, and yes they're not from this time. It makes family gatherings VERY interesting.
Tabitha Moon dontcallmesnow, Harry Potter - the stubborn sister and International Relations professor. She is a tough grader, but if nothing else its worth it because she gives amazing recommendations for internships.
AND Wade Welles broken_timer, Sliders - Local writer and inter-dimensional traveler. Currently in the midst of her third book, the series is rather popular and is getting national acclaim from the sci-fi community. If only they knew where it really stemmed from.

Sunday our house guest leaves so my stress is cut more than in half. My husband was forced to take all of his vacation days at one time – or at least part of it. He’s chosen to take it in September feeling this would be a great time to distress. We will be doing a great deal throughout September. Pretend I’m hiatus just in case but I don’t see any problems with my tagging. So if you are in a tag with me now and want it finished before I go there is plenty of time. As it gets closer in the week, my time will be shorter but I’m in town.

From 7-12: we have an overnight trip, then a night at home then three days camping. Those three days should be the most we're away, but he just surprised me with this vintage camper, so I know there are a few weekends of fishing left before it gets to cold.

I’ll do my best to be as posty as I can be. I’ll be more active after the 12. Remember I’ll me in town, but will be fishing and stuff so if you don’t hear from for a day (after the 12) I should be on the next.

This affects Faith, Jenny, Katherine and anyone they are in threads with at the moment. If the Scott and Faith thread aren't finished and Scott needs to do something with Faith to move her somewhere that's fine with me. My times away really shouldn't cause a problem.
