Many believe that there is only one world. Only one reality.

Many are wrong.

There are many realities. Many possibilities. Worlds where things we believed were mere fiction are alive and well. These "fictions" aren't always happy to know the truth, and sometimes neither are their so-called creators.

So what happens when these realities collide? When fiction turns to reality, and the creations have a will of their own?

Our story is set in a post-apocalyptic world, in which the fictions are indeed real and do just as they please. The human race has been all but obliterated as the realities collide. Many of these humans have come together behind high fortified walls, attempting to safe guard against monsters and unbelievable forces. There are cracks that allow the "fictional" heroes and villains to fall through, and there is a prophecy that hints that these newcomers could be the salvation or the damnation, not just of one particular reality but all of them.

Reality Crisis is a multi-fandom game accepting most action/adventure, horror, fantasy, and sci-fi fandoms. We have been running strong for almost a month now and are looking to expand our group and bring in some new players.

Most wanted characters include (but are not limited to!): George and Nina from Being Human, Galen, Tory and Sharon from Battlestar Galactica, Lex Luthor from Smallville, Any DC comics (or movieverse, TV, etc) characters, especially: Green Arrow, Nightwing, Robin, Huntress, etc. Any Marvel Comicsverse or Movieverse characters, particularly X-Men, Carlos Rodriguez and Georgia Borden from Dresden Files

Ye Gods! [14 Jan 2012|03:15pm]

In centuries past, mortals believed in superstition. They believed in gods. They believed in magic. As human civilization evolved and fewer people chose to believe in the otherworld, the mist grew thicker and the parallel worlds more separate. Mortals were blessed (and cursed) to see only what they wanted to see. They went about their business unaware that the gods were still very much around and pulling the strings.

With worship waning, the gods found that they had to think of new ways to increase their power and influence. They turned to their mortal children - their demi-gods. However, lately, greater problems have arisen. The forces of darkness and chaos are rising, threatening the very fabric of existence. Who will succeed? Who will stand for goodness and light, and who will be the harbingers of darkness and chaos?

[info]yegods is a modern fantasy roleplaying game inspired by White Wolf's Scion setting and Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series. We're a small plot-driven, log heavy game with super friendly players and a lot of activity, so join today! Join us and experience the adventure, intrigue, and excitement of Ye Gods!

rutledge manor [14 Jan 2012|04:45pm]
Welcome to Rutledge Manor.
Please, have a seat.

Would you like some tea? No? All right, then let's begin. You are here because your family has refused to put up with you, is that correct? Ah, my apologies. Delicate subject, your removal from home. Well, I assure you, we will take very good care of you here.

For now.

Rutledge Manor is a children and youth literature-centric roleplaying game set within the hospital of the same name. But it is not where normal children go. It is where the children from stories such as Peter Pan, Hansel and Gretel, to Coraline and James and the Giant Peach, all come together and unite under one roof.

But those who come into Rutledge Manor may never leave.
