The company based out of Raccoon City has long since gone under in the public eye. Enter Mystic Falls, a small town in the middle of nowhere with ties to the civil war. A new pharmaceutical company has emerged, this one using the foundations built by Umbrella many years ago, as well as some of the test models by the sister company Tricell recently in the US and in Africa. Will they be able to get a foothold on American soil? Or will Umbrella’s little baby company be forced back into the shadows? Rather than betraying his closest friends to Voldemort, Peter confessed his regretted Dark Mark to Albus Dumbledore and to the Order of the Phoenix. As a result, when Voldemort came to the Godric’s Hollow on Halloween, he was met with the full force of the Order’s power, which broke his own. At the time, it was thought that Voldemort had been defeated forever, but now the world knows know that this was not the case and a second war is building. In the midst of that war, a boy who never was The Boy Who Lived has a prophecy to fulfill, but that boy’s world is immensely different. How different? On 25 April 1998, one week before the battle of Hogwarts, the impossible happens: nineteen-year-old Sirius Black walks into the ravaged and war-torn Leaky Cauldron. He isn't the only one to return, and in the span of seven days, over two dozen witches and wizards from the past appear in all parts of the wizarding world. No one knows why, but a clue lies in who these people are: each played a vital role in the first war. Voldemort is far too preoccupied with winning the war against Harry Potter to pay much attention, but the Order isn't. Some of the returned are friendly to their cause, though others are as bloodthirsty and sadistic as they are in modern times. The above principle illustrates the theory of this L-Space: large quantities of books tend to warp time, space, and reality. Pockets of L-Space usually manifest themselves in those improbable little bookstores which are far bigger on the inside than their appearances on the outside say they should be. L-Space links every library and every book, and ever world contained therein. It is highly unstable. Usually, the tenders of L-Space can keep on top of things. Up until now, they've managed to keep it from tearing the very fabric of reality, or making the universe as we know it implode, but things have recently gotten a little... strained. L-Space has started bending in on itself and drawing in people from different realities. But not to worry! There are others about to keep you company, and a few librarians who are tinkering with the fabric of this new little world to try and make things more comfortable for you.
