October 1, 2010: The U.S. government of the Omega Reality conducts a secret experiment in quantum physics. Their goal is to construct a means for the U.S. military to travel between alternate realities. But, something unexpected happens. Instead of creating a means of leaving the Omega Reality, they cause a rift that allows someone from another reality, our reality, into the Omega Reality.
Leon Vance, Director of NCIS, finds himself in the exact location where the experiment has taken place. Captured by the U.S. military upon arrival, Leon is questioned extensively. It is during questioning he becomes aware something is different. More than the differences between governments in separate realities, this is something about himself. By the time he realizes he has the ability to sense when others arrive through the new rift, these new arrivals have already begun to make their own way in this new reality.
He is not the only new arrival to have discovered a new power within themselves, powers the natural inhabitants of the Omega Reality do not posses. And some of these new arrivals are delighted to abuse their new-found powers for personal gain at the expense of the citizens of the Omega Reality.
Driven by his sense of duty and a desire to help stop the corruption coming into the Omega Reality from his own, Leon uses his political savoir faire to get himself named as Head of the newly formed Interdimensional Criminal Investigation Service (ICIS). The newly arrived Henrietta Lange becomes his closest alley.
Now, they must work together to organize ICIS and find a way to help these new arrivals adapt to the differences between the two realities.

She calls herself "The Gossip Witch", and no one knows her true identity. All they know is that if there's gossip in the Wizarding community, The Gossip Witch knows it, and she's not afraid to print it. Entries from this unknown source appear in the journals weekly; printing everything there is to know about the lives and scandals of former Hogwarts graduates (even things she shouldn't be able to know). She may use initials, but just about everyone knows who the rumors are about. Will your character end up on Gossip Witch's daily dishings? And how will this affect their lives, their relationships, and their emotions? No matter how it plays out, you know you love her...
The Gossip Witch has been open since January of 2010. We are accepting applications for all canon characters in the wiki or Lexicon, but are especially looking for:
Draco Malfoy*, Percy Weasley, Bill Weasley, Charlie Weasley, Justin Finch-Fletchley*, Terry Boot, Michael Corner, Anthony Goldstein, Padma Patil, Lee Jordan, Marietta Edgecombe and more.

BORN TO BE WILD
Pokémon, short for ポケットモンスター or Pocket Monsters. They are creatures that are, each one, based on an element and are able to attack with moves from those elements. Human trainers capture, tame, train and use their own creatures to capture more and more species they find in the wild. There are 493 of them, and each one has a varying degree of usability in battle.
Realm of Light is an active rpg based on the will of wild Pokémon to remain free.
The wild is where these creatures were born to be, where they fight to remain. But that doesn't mean it's safe, or even tame compared with being caught. There is ancient darkness lingering out there...
Be a Nidoran in a warren, a Poochyena in a pack, an Ampharos in a flock, a Bulbasaur in the jungle, a Goldeen in the sea... Or anything else you'd like to try! There is definitely something for everyone.
Our stories/characters meet and interact, and face adventures, challenges and enemies in our vast, mapped, environment.
Realm offers RPers a very active group of creative and friendly players, and any Pokémon species is acceptable for roleplaying. We are in our eighth year and have become the most active Pokémon RPG in YahooGroups.
