Eidolon City is an original character game with a difference, set in a world of the imagination, a mirror to the real world of the 1940s, a noir city setting full of high society, mafia wars, poverty and corruption.
We are currently looking for new characters and our players have suggested the following to spark your imaginations!

SOCIETY
It's not easy being a straight guy in this town, especially not in politics, but Harry Freeman tries his best. Sure, he's hardly whiter than white, but he's kept mostly to the straight and narrow, and managed to stay in office for the past ten years. He just knows he's never going to make it to the top unless he's willing to bend a little more.
The City Echo started out as a pissant nothing of a paper, but it has been ruthlessly pushed over the years and now it's the biggest thing in town when it comes to news. And in the middle sits the editor, always pulling strings to get the right results.
Carlotta Ferris might never have got the best education in the world, but she knows all she needs to - the renowned beauty knows the power of her looks and uses them to her best advantage. That and a quiet change of name and hardly anyone remembers these days that she wasn't born into the social circles she inhabits.
MOBS
Alexi Sidorov has plans. He may only be young, but he's ambitious and he's going places. He was the youngest member of the Konovich Syndicate to be given a captaincy and he intends to get higher still. Working in a meritocracy, though, means proving yourself, and with the shake up in the Syndicate lately, now seems to be the time to do just that.
Kurtis Walker has put his time in with the family. With society, with doing all the quiet, harsh if necessary deeds his family has required, and he's looking forward to his reward - Cheyenne. Pretty little thing, perfect to round out his life now that he's reached a stage where the messier parts of his job will be passed on to someone lower down the food chain. She'll look good on his arm, that's for sure.
Scarlett O'Malley remembers better days, when her family had respect in this town. Things have only fallen apart in the last few weeks, when the cops closed in on them, and their Syndicate allies turned on them. Now her family is dead, or scattered. Scarlett, though, wants revenge, and to rebuild what they once had.
HOMELESS
Jack Keyes, 27. Left his little sister, Maddy at an orphanage at when he was 18 to try pull together a better life for the two of them but it's been almost ten years since she's heard from him.

During the summer months, characters can help with the rebuilding of Hogwarts (weekly status updates) and generally get their lives back together. Come September, 7th and "8th" year students will return to Hogwarts but be housed off-grounds in Hogsmeade for maximum interaction potential. Several NEWTs options are available for 8th years. |

| You’ve just been sentenced to MCI Grand Junction, a prison located some 20 miles west of Boston, Massachusetts.
You have been sent here to carry out the full term of your sentence. There will be no escape. There will be no appeals. Some of you will never leave. For some this is only the beginning of a long and terrible nightmare.
Rumors of brutality, of severe discipline, rape and even murder is rife within, but in a place like Grand Junction money talks. Besides, you are a convicted felon: society has washed its hands of you.
The only people looking out for you now are those left on the outside waiting for your release. Pray you live long enough to see it.
Your life as you knew it is over.
Welcome to Grand Junction.

When you wake up, it’s quite. There’s no low hum of an engine, or any of the ships personnel they said would be there to greet you out of stasis. All you know is, the automated functions have opened your stasis pod, and it is dark. You sit up cautiously, none of the other pods seemed to have opened. You are very, very, alone.
This is where everything begins, the awakening, day zero. You are aboard The Eros, and of the 1200 other passengers, you are one of the few that woke up. No one can give you a reason to why the automated functions malfunctioned or why you were the ones who were chosen to wake up. The welcome teams haven't contacted the ship. All you know is you’ve touched down on Gaia and there is no one here to hold your hand. Everything you brought from the old world is gone, family, friends, your old life, everything. You are now faced with a choice, do you stay on the ship and hope for help to come? Or do you venture into the unknown?
The choice is yours. Gaia is waiting. |

We recently decided that our semi-AU staff-based game could use some "new" blood. We're officially non-Deathly Hallows compatible. Also, a Harry, Ron and George would be peachy. We're school-based (not student-based). Original characters are welcome, by the way. :D All info can be found here: head_mistress.

The Premise
In the Summer of 2024, a pack of werewolves started terrorising the country, turning young children and brutally killing their parents. A month later the dead started returning to life. Voldemort was among the first to arrive. By spring 2025, Voldemort and the werewolves had joined forces; Hogwarts, Azkaban and Diagon Alley had been attacked, but Ministry and Order were still standing strong, forcing Voldemort to live in hiding.
On June 18, 2025, everything changed! Voldemort launched an attack on the wizarding world, hitting King's Cross, the Hogwarts Express and the Ministry. While the forces of good spread out to protect the population, Voldemort took over the Ministry – and with it the Wizarding society. The Order and their allies fled to Hogwarts, where Headmaster Severus Snape shielded the school, making it impossible for Voldemort to gain entrance. From there, the Order launched its resistance.
For the rest of the population, it’s comply or be killed, but under the surface, people are trying to find a way to manoeuvre outside the new laws and restrictions. In the meantime an unknown, yet undetected, spell is spreading amongst the Wizarding population, Death Eaters, Order and neutral alike. A spell which has the potential to turn the world upside down once more.
