The Premise
Werewolf attacks have become the stuff of everyday life for much of Wizarding Britain, an ancient spell cast by Slytherin himself is bringing the dead back to life, and a certain Dark Lord seems intent on conquering the world again... Harry Potter, the Head of the Aurors, has his Department fighting back with around the clock patrols and Hit Wizards are busier than ever before, but even with extra security, is the world safe?
How long will the tension build? How much can those who saved the world take? How far can the wizarding world be pushed before it reaches its breaking point?

If you’ve been living under a rock, allow The Prophet to clarify the fact that the world as you know it is at war. Since the beginning of the year 1979 your coworkers are no longer to be trusted; neither are your neighbors, your friends, nor even your grandmum sitting with that beady look in her eyes over her knitting. There is a call to arms and a race to fill every seat within the jostling Ministry of Magic, some desperate struggle for power on the edge of a gleaming city that exists only in the minds of the disillusioned. As the clock ticks away the minutes of an unraveling time, more are dying, magical and muggle alike. Take heed, youthful pioneers of a world burning to the ashen ground! Set forth and lament the losing’s, reap the ruptured, or comfort the condemned.
Your character will be given a number, one that might be drawn at random in order to facilitate plot within the game. Each week this will determine whether they are kidnapped, given a Ministry position, contract memory loss, or are senselessly tortured for information they may or may not have. The list goes on. Chance however, is the only mistress in which you can find unwavering loyalty.
This is an AU Marauder era game set in a war zone. The Order of the Phoenix and Death Eaters are struggling for power within the Ministry of Magic. It is a race against time with the pendulum swaying precariously between two very different futures. Tell us all a story
They're the ones who are all around us, part of a last thread holding the end back. They just don't know that. Yet. Welcome to Eidolon City, a place of the highest heights and the lowest lows. Where crime and corruption are more commonplace than morality and decency. Where figures from humanity's collective unconscious roam the streets, playing their own roles in events.
We're looking for players interested in a game that's something different from the norm, an altered take on a lot of different concepts. Eidolon City is a game that incorporates fairytales, mythology, literary figures and dreams in a completely original world - a noir setting full of mafia families, crime and corrupt city officials.

The year is 1976, and the marauders have entered their sixth year. There has been talk in pureblood families of a 'Dark Lord', a man who's sole interest is purifying the wizarding world of muggles and muggleborns. He has enlisted the help of Hogwarts students, staff, and men living in Hogsmeade. With these minions, Lord Voldemort has already attacked many muggleborns, blood traitors, and Hogwarts. With the increasing attacks on Hogwarts, Headmaster Dumbledore has been given few options. After a muggleborn's death, the Headmaster has decided to lock the school, while letting the students outdoors for select hours of the day. The Ministry of Magic has sent Hogwarts six aurors to help protect students and screen mail. No one gets in, and no one gets out. Many students believe the attacks are coming from within Hogwarts, and fear the worst.
What are the students to do? Headmaster Dumbledore has come up with the only possible solution - he needs help. He needs a group of trusted people to fight back, and so begins the Order of the Phoenix. Slowly but surely these young witches and wizards will be trained to fight and protect themselves.

Currently moving from LJ to IJ, theshanshu is an Angelverse crossover game with a growing amount of members. Based off of Angel season 5's episode you're welcome, the team decides it's time to step it up a notch calling in people from everywhere in the whedonverse. We are looking for more Angel, Buffy, Heroes and Leverage characters!

The place you are in seems to be perfect, you have everything you want and more but not is all as it seems. There are rumours of late night attacks, of people going missing or even dying. How will you defend yourself without any magic?
Time Warp is a Harry Potter RPG set in an alternate universe. It is a multi-generational game and will be opening when we have 12 players! Four characters to go!

Apartments For RentVACANT. The Boy Who Learned Fear: In all of his life, The Boy Who Learned Fear has never been scared. It worried his parents to no end, and they took him to countless psychiatrists and specialists in his childhood. When he finally left home, they were glad to see him go, because others feared him, even though he feared nothing. He's a low-level member of the Giancoma Family, though not related through blood, and he's been sent to Bellum to keep an eye on Red Riding Hood. He hasn't caught on to The Big Bad Wolf yet, but he knows there are treasures to be found in the building, including Djinn and Dracula.
VACANT. The Sorcerer's Apprentice: Obsessed with magic from an early age The Sorcerer's Apprentice has heard about The Baba Yaga's visions and has come to the building to learn from her. He is nothing if not a swindler and a subtle Casanova (he's interested in the mystery of Snow White and Rose Red, seducing sisters is on his list of things to do before he dies). he's instantly smitten. She knows The Frog Prince from the past eight years at the circus.

Premise:
There is an apartment building in New York called 'Bellum Letale.' Most people ignore its auspicious name, though they would be advised to pay more attention to its meaning.
It is a strange building.
Every man, woman and child in the building is a reincarnated fable, the stories told to human children for hundreds, sometimes thousands of years. Once very real, the fables began to fade as science and reason dispelled the probability of their existence. They have all been reborn in human forms, though their essence remains, waiting to be awakened at the right time, in the right place.
Now is the time - Bellum Letale is the place. As their lives connect and weave together, as they follow their petty desires and long-held grudges, they are, all of them, on the brink of disaster. Their Landlord knows their every move, and the building they live in seems to have an agenda of its own. People are tortured, people die, people plot behind each other's backs and sneak around and cheat. They love, they fight, they draw blood. This is not the fairy tale you remember being told. |
