While Mira was out traveling around finding vampires that wished to join the twin sisters in taking power, Maria joined Mira meeting with the sisters. A bid for control of the Vampire world sounded just like what was needed. What will happen as Maria and the Slovenian Twins gain members, even a few of the Volturi Guard have left to join the new rising power Nov Sila. How will the Cullens and the Nomads manage? But the Large Hadron Collider didn’t destroy the world. No, it did the exact opposite: it opened our world. September 10, 2008, was when it all started, when scientists executed the Large Hadron Collider and They started showing up. They came unexpectedly, in small numbers, sometimes in larger ones. They claimed to be from somewhere else, somewhere magical or mundane, far or near. Somewhere else. Somewhere other than our world. Nine days later, the Collider broke. The people though, they remained. No one else came through, but the ones who had stayed. Ever since then, the government has been rounding them up whenever they can find them.
