lollygagger
if you give a fuck, that's one fuck too much.

it's safe to say we all know about the marauders and the pranks they used to pull, how severus snape lost the only person that gave a damn, how lily evans fell in love with someone she thought she hated; but what about the rest? have you ever wondered about the people james hexed along the way, the girls that used to follow sirius around, the students at the lake on the day the friendship between lily and severus was tarnished? they've got lives, they've got romance, they've got stories to tell.

at lollygagger, you will be able to rp someone we've not heard much about, such as mary macdonald or stubby boardman. it's the marauders' seventh year, but you will not find james potter or sirius black here. it's time for the little people to take center stage.

It's a sunny day in the kingdom of Frell...

...and all the inhabitants are living a simple, happy life. King Char and his Queen Ella are resting peacefully in their graves, and all seems to be normal.

Or is it?

Happily ever after was just the beginning...

Fair is an original character fairy tale game based on the world created by Gail Carson Levine's books Ella Enchanted, Fairest, and The Two Princesses of Bamarre. If you've never read those books, don't worry! You can just look at the game like any other fairy tale game.

Wanted Characters

Bess Guidon, the town's apprentice healer, is missing her husband, Tristan. Tristan is a knight, and he loves his wife more than anything, but something deep down tells him that she doesn't feel the same. He gives her everything he can in the hope that she'll stay with him, but somehow it's not enough for Bess.

Abigail Hall is missing her sister, Eleanor. The two were separated as children, and Abby misses her dearly.

Serenity Somerset ran away from her privileged life ten years ago, leaving behind her sisters Hope, Faith, Blythe and Verity. These three sisters are all married, and one is playing host to elder unwed sister Grace, as well. Serenity works as a barmaid, but it can't be long before her past catches up with her.

Marta Damaran works in the palace as a servant, and she is missing her brothers, Markhas, Damin, and Richard Damaran. Richard also works in the palace, but Markhas and Damin have not seen him or Marta since she they ran away as children.

We would all love to see the Prince of Frell. With his father falling ill, the prince knows he will soon assume the throne- but despite this, he is still widely considered to be young, spoiled, and the biggest brat in the kingdom.

Original characters are welcome and encouraged! ♥

VIVE LA FRANCE!
We all know the story of England's greatest Wizarding war, people, and events. But what about right across the English Chanel? What life lies in the country of France, the home of l'Académie de Magie Beauxbâtons and so many other places of note?

The year is 2009, and a new party known only as the Reformists won almost all the elections in the magical French government in late 2008. Their agendas are not known to the public, and how they won not exactly clear. Some begin to question how the Reformists won, who is running the country, and other unseemly questions. But the crowning success of the so called 'Reformists' (headed by the never seen and unknown 'Marcus Laprine') soon make people forget these early complaints.

The Reformists managed to create laws which eradicated diseases that had been threatening the French wizarding community by collecting all those who are ill, and magically 'washing out' their immune systems at government stations, with government healers. No one knows how this 'washing' works, only that people aren't dying, crime is down, the economy is rising with exports being shipped out, and Paris is becoming the mecca of francophone wizards again. Yet, critics still question how the elections were won, and what this new healing magic is.

But in March of 2009, suddenly, a new wave of illness comes. Twenty six people die while with the government healers, all of them past critics of the Reformists and family members. But they were older, weaker- maybe it was just their time to go. Or so many French people claim: others even go so far to say that they deserved it, for going agianst those who had saved France from slowly crumbling with tradition.

Finally, in May 2009 the Reformists make a move: releasing books on how to keep a witch or wizard healthy from these horrible illnesses, and the public eats them up for the most part. The elderly are to be left to the country side to fade away naturally, while the youth must stay phsyically fit and healthy. Bloodlines must be kept straight and narrow: pureblood marrying pureblood, and muggle borns left to thier own devices, or to die out. The issue isn't blood purity like in England- it's blood ranking, with the goal passing on the best to the next generation.

Some feel indigant at once: England had shown them what happened in these situations. Others refuse to question the group that saved their city and children. Some turn a blind eye.

What will you do?

Mature, AU, Harry Potter fandom game. 18 and older only.

Imagine a place where Blackbeard the Pirate and King Henry the VIII have weekly games of poker, where the fates and furies walk among the everyday citizen, where wizards are gods and no one is what they seem, even your best friend.

Welcome to the Fortunate Isles. Long before wizards, emperors, kings, and warriors walked the earth the gods and the fates did. But like all species the gods died out and were replaced or forgotten in favour of new trends and ideals, but the fates are forever. The fates have stood by patiently and watched humans evolve through the centuries, looking for the perfect species for their experiment and in their search they came across wizards. Human but not quite human at the same time; with the abilities to do pretty much anything with their minds the Fates have decided that they will be perfect for the Fortunate Isles, their private get away where gods, and furies, Valkyries and pirates, kings and emperors alike walk once more, their personalities transplanted into the bodies of wizards. Upon death witches and wizards will enter the Fortunate Isles where nothing will ever be the same for them again.

With all of their memories from life still in tact the witches and wizards of past must now figure out how to live with new personalities and accept the fact that not everyone can be a god and everything you once knew, is no longer the same.

Things have changed greatly those since they have arrived in Valhalla. A few weeks ago the Fates experimented with a way to separate themselves from their hosts and into their own bodies. During the transfer an excessive amount of magic was released into the air and things have gone awry. The residents of Valhalla are now alive, in a sense and are able to not only have children again but they can die temporarily as well. Situations were weird before and now, their only going to get even weirder.

Charing Cross: Post-DH Harry Potter Game [31 May 2009|06:54pm]

Charing Cross

It's 2003, the Wizarding World has come a long way since the Final Battle. Death Eaters have been tried and dealt with fairly under the watchful eye of the new Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt and a reformed Wizengamot. Diagon Alley and Hogwarts have been rebuilt. Slowly the magical community has rebuilt and healed from the destruction of Voldemort's reign.

Charing Cross is a game that explores the social and professional lives of our favorite Harry Potter Characters as they live their lives in this new rebuilt society. The main action takes place in and around Diagon Alley, which is much more than the one-street world we saw in canon. In the past five years Diagon Alley has become not only the Magical Center of London, but of all of Britain. New shops have opened, small cafes have been founded and residential buildings are quickly filling up, so claim your spot now!
