Twice, our world was stricken by the end. The plains and once wet fields are nothing but ashes, torn asunder by the was, the then, the past - two pasts - that laid their marks.
Our planet was fated to die twice over, and though there were many that shed their blood for this good earth when their time came for them, the Gaian race is far from extinction. We wonder how it is that our place in this known universe avoided destruction, of Meteor and Omega, but as all beings who are face to face with the ultimate question of reality, we come to understand that we know nothing. We've set our eyes on re-birth; these were not uncharted waters. We looked to the heavens for Alexander, for Eden, for law and religion, and we saw the pale drifts of Lifestream scattered across the stars. Our world as we know it is a war of the world's making. A war waged upon us, and itself, the galaxies and beyond willing a conquest by extermination of all that is good to us, and all that remains. Others have fought for us. We looked on to our saviors for help. Where once stood Shinra, our lord and protector, now stands bricks in broken asphalt. Where once stood Midgar, the empire, now stands Midgar, the ruins. Shinra, Avalanche, World Regenesis, Deepground. There's only so far we can go with self-conflict and single-manned goals.
The colonization of this planet alone won't help our cause. The clusters of our people still exist, the grounds of the past are crumbled, and one by one, we attempt to pick up the pieces, to an avail we hope still lives.
This isn't the end. At least, not yet. But can we learn, or will we ever learn?

Quite the contrary: the existence of the Damsel In Distress often precipitates a Dulcinea Effect; the strange compulsion of heroes to champion, quest for, or even die for, girls they met five minutes ago.

We have recently had a clear out of dead weight and are ready to welcome new people to play with us in this tight knit, active and super fun community. We will be doing adds whenever we have applications for a little while, to allow lots of newbies to join in without much of a wait.
We welcome any living Grey's Anatomy or Private Practice character, from the great Miranda Bailey to random first year interns. Though some are taken, there are still openings for amazing characters like Lexie Grey, Derek Shepherd and Mark Sloan waiting to be filled.

DoubleCrossed is a PostWar Harry Potter game set in 2003.
We are canon-compliant up to but not always including the epilogue.

It's now 2003 and after five years of healing the Wizarding World is ready to get on with their lives. The Wizengamot has reached the verdict on their last Death Eater trial. And just when everyone begins to breathe again, a family of Muggle-Borns with a brand new baby were brutally murdered. And above their homes the Dark Mark is glowing just as brightly as it had five years ago. The Order and the Ministry are both on the hunt for the Lestranges, the only missing Death Eaters. But the rest of the world is starting to wonder if it's all just smoke and mirrors. Is Voldemort really back from the dead? After all... he's done it before.

One of the smallest of the island regions, Shiko offers a breathtaking diversity of scenery. North of the island is an inland sea with tiny islands, rich fisheries, and a coastline of citrus orchards. To the south lies the mighty ocean. Shiko's terrain includes high mountains, crystal clear rivers, windswept capes and ocean whirlpools. Mt. Ossia, located in northwestern Shiko, is the island's tallest peak at 1,982 m (6,499 ft).
This is an OC-only Pokemon RPG. There's no fighting over canon characters, and no conflicts with their characterization.
