Following a war that decimated the world, the country of Oceania embraced reform to rebuild their society. Crime is not tolerated. The people are divided into castes. The monarchy's rule is swift, absolute, and steeped in tradition... And it is tradition that will bring twenty-five lucky girls to the royal palace in the hope of winning the crown prince's heart... The Selected is an original character roleplay based on the premise of The Selection series by Kiera Cass. The roleplay will focus on events at the palace as the crown prince participates in The Selection. No knowledge of the books is needed to play.

Initiation X
While the existence of mutants is no longer the stuff of urban legends, mutants themselves still face difficulty and danger when they reveal themselves. Charles Xavier had always wanted to help his fellow mutants and also slowly prepare the world for wide scale acceptance of mutantkind. To that end he, with help from Erik Lehnsherr and Raven Darkhölme, converted his family mansion into a haven for young mutants disguised as a private school. They began taking in students, teaching them to control their mutations in safety.
But as the threat of mutant dissidents grew and governments grew more fearful of mutants, they realized they needed a more proactive solution. They began training a team of older students and staff to combat both threats to mutantkind and mutants who threatened humanity, calling themselves the "X-Men." Now, these would be heroes are about to reveal themselves. It should be quite an initiation.
