Welcome to Hippocrene Falls, a pleasantly small town somewhere in the US. There's a school here, a rather extraordinary school where everyone is the reincarnation of a famous writer of the past. Most of them lead normal lives -- they study or teach, they make friends and go on dates -- but sometimes stranger things happen. These people have a tendency to (unwittingly) cause their old creations to materialise around them, so they might run into a strangely familiar character or find themselves in situations they once wrote about. Most of the time, these events are harmless (just slightly confusing) but they can also be incredibly dangerous.
Think of this game as the roguish lovechild of Skins and a well-stocked library, with a dash of Hogwarts.
We are looking for original characters based on famous (dead) writers. Scenes are written off-site and logs are then posted to the main community, so don't be put off by the fact that it's based on LiveJournal. Click on the links below to begin!

 The world changed in 2012.
Where previously, superheroes were few and far between. The occasional billionaire and her toys, tales of supersoldiers fighting the big wars, monsters rampaging through New York City, suddenly, there were super-spies and gods and heroes.
It was a shock.
It was even more of a shock where other people started appearing, other people with powers. Some born with it, some accidental, some just being exceptionally well-trained. The world was a different place now, but not everyone is willing to trust superheroes to save them. Not everyone is okay with the destruction the Avengers caused. And for every hero that appears, there are villains waiting in the wings too.
The world will hit a tipping point eventually.
Only time will tell if that heroic age ends in glory and song.
Or in blood and fire.
