The past three years have been filled with rebuilding and recovering from both the emotional and physical damage wrought by the war. The acting Minister, Kingsley Shacklebolt, has just come out on top in the most recent elections, the first ones held since the end of the war. He'll be staying in office another four years. The public has been demanding that something be done to prevent events like the rise of Voldemort and the Second Wizarding War from ever happen again. Acting impetuously, the Minister of Magic proposes the first of what will come to be known as the Bones Laws.
