In an effort to ensure the old lines and customs continue, arranged marriages are encouraged, something which the school fully supports with special classes for those involved in arranged marriages as well as special accommodations for the engaged upperclassmen at the school. Proper lineage must be proven to gain admission to Eligere Institute, but we are accepting characters of all political affiliations - both those who support the purist ideals of the school and those who do not. We're looking for an even mix and lots of diversity within the Pureblooded magical population. Students also are not required to be a part of the Arranged Marriage Programme and we'd like a good mix of both those involved and those not involved. It couldn't be, of course. That person isn't even real and dreams are just dreams, right? Or, maybe not. A series of people, all around the world, are experiencing that very thing and, as it turns out, there's much more to it than it being just a dream. Those people are all reincarnations of fictional characters - imaginary people from literature, mythology, nursery rhymes, fairy tales, etc. They don't have conscious memories of their past lives, but, boy, do they dream about them. Some of them even have special abilities related to their former selves. The dreams can be good or bad, but the one thing they all are is vivid. The room is small, with only some dated medical monitoring equipment, a metal gurney, a cylindrical security camera, and a locker beside the door. All of it was a sterile white once upon a time, but has been aged with mildew and mold. You are covered in a hospital gown and nothing else. That's alright, your clothing is waiting for you in the locker with a yellowed envelope on top of it. Inside is a letter printed on old perforated printer paper with the side tabs still attached. Welcome to The Lethe Project. As a volunteer for our program, you have been transported to our subterranean laboratory facility for testing and monitoring. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped to accommodate you during your stay with bunk space, a mess hall, gymnasium, and indoor garden. The non-invasive security system will monitor your activity and record your progress. Please enjoy your stay and thank you for your donation to science. The past three years have been filled with rebuilding and recovering from both the emotional and physical damage wrought by the war. The acting Minister, Kingsley Shacklebolt, has just come out on top in the most recent elections, the first ones held since the end of the war. He'll be staying in office another four years. The public has been demanding that something be done to prevent events like the rise of Voldemort and the Second Wizarding War from ever happen again. Acting impetuously, the Minister of Magic proposes the first of what will come to be known as the Bones Laws.
