IT'S OFFICIAL:
ROADMAPS IS OPEN!

The plot is centered around the hunt for Horcruxes, which have been scattered across the globe. It also will explore possibilities for what might have happened should things have gone differently in canon after the Marauders' graduation (for example, should Snape/Peter decide not to go to the other side).

Over the course of the game, Regulus will have presented the Order of the Phoenix with what he knows about the Horcruxes: the location of the first and that there are four more somewhere in the world. This sets off a chain of events leading to Voldemort and Dumbledore's deaths when Dumbledore sacrifices himself to buy Order time to find the Horcruxes and a mad scramble between the Order, Death Eaters, and Ministry to reach the Horcruxes first with journalists trailing behind before Voldemort can return.

Need more reasons to join? Roadmaps has been going strong before opening with backstory and is now home to over 50+ characters. It hosts chats almost nightly (with some of the friendliest RPers ever. Beisdes that, there's plenty of time to join before the main plot kicks off! Click here to read more and go take a look around!

We have a strong preference for players who are 18 and over, due to the themes often addressed in this RP. We have over 125 active player characters in the game, 300+ original NPCs and have many plots running at any given time. We accept Original Characters as well as canon characters, adult or children.

DC - NextGen is a second generation DC Heroes journal RPG. While it deals with the next generation of heroes, the setting is sent in the present. The timeline roughly departs from canon in 1988, though we tend to look at it as a loose guideline. Characters from beyond that point and concepts beyond that point have been used with our current players.

We have a strong preference for players who are 18 and over, due to the themes often addressed in this RPG. We have over 55 player characters in the game, a host of original NPCs for the game and plots going at any given time. We accept canon characters as well as original characters.

The Justice League. The Justice Society. The Teen Titans. The Birds of Prey. The Outsiders. The Lantern Corps.

These are just a few of the individual teams who stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. They fight megalomaniacal dictators, would be world conquerors, aliens and anything else that threatens the world and innocents.

DC Heroes is a roleplaying game that deals with heroes and villains in the entire DC Universe. While we gladly accept applications for JLA and JSA, we encourage applications for other characters off the beaten path. The DC Universe is a very big place and we would love to see characters from all aspects.

Seattle, WA 2022

Here in post-Pulse Seattle, my home, my friends, and my family are under fire. See, I was cooked up in a gene-splicing lab by an outfit called Manticore. They trained us to be soldiers, but really, we were slaves. Just over a year ago, I torched the place and set everybody free--let them out into the world. Government's been trying to catch us ever since. The public is afraid; we are hunted, hated, and living in fear. Thank God for Logan. Even though we can't be together, on account of this virus Manticore put in me because they want him dead--long story, don't ask--he's still there for me, and he's helping me figure out what this black-ops government guy in charge of hunting me down is really up to. Turns out he's part of some weird ancient cult dealio--several thousand years of selective breeding, so they got some pretty nasty tricks up their sleeves. For some reason, they want me dead in a big way, and I've got a bad feeling they're not going to give up until they get what they want.

Terminal City is a twenty-block no-man's land in the heart of Seattle. Closed ten years ago after a massive toxic spill, it is without power or water, and it is a felony to go beyond this security fence that surrounds it. Terminal City is far from empty; it is home to rats, stray cats, a few homeless humans, and an ever-increasing number of transgenics, some of them far from human. Day in and day out, new faces are showing up in Terminal City. It's not easy, but Max is somehow managing to find them all someplace warm and dry to sleep, and has thus far been able to procure supplies for every single one of them, but things are getting harder and harder.

For the last year, since the showdown at Jam Pony Messenger service, the Transgenic population has been tryin' to lay low, keep themselves off the radar. The last thing they want is more trouble, more negative publicity. Too bad for them, the general public has other ideas. For the past two months, Transgenics have been turning up at the gates of the city dead, hanging from burning, wooden X's. So far, the body count is up to six, and no one within Terminal City's gates can begin to speculate when the murderer's will strike again.

But there's an even bigger, and much worse threat to the Transgenic population than some vigilante idiots. The US government has reached a decision regarding the Trasngenics, and Max and company might be in bigger trouble than they thought ...

The Crescent City Institute of Magic has a long history of educating the best and brightest Witches and Wizards in the United States. Located on the grounds of an old plantation near New Orleans, CCI has a culture shaped both by its students and faculty, as well as by the close proximity of New Orleans itself.

CCI has been through changes in recent years. Hurricane Katrina hit the school hard, as it did all of the region. Many upperclassmen will remember the previous headmaster’s tragic death during the storm as he tried to help evacuate the school.

As the new school year begins, more changes are in store. Adversaries old and new are drawn to New Orleans like moths to a flame, and strange…things…abound. One thing is for certain: this year, petty high school drama will be the least of anyone’s concerns…

It’s well known that the Harpies are the most philanthropic team in the United Kingdom and Ireland league. It all started out as a simple argument between Capt. Roger Davies of the Pride of Portree and Captain Gweong Jones of the Holyhead Harpies one night in a pub. But then came an unwise comment from Davies about how the men could earn more fund-raising with less effort, and still beat the all women team to escalate the Welsh’s woman’s temper.

And a challenge was made. On behalf of all the men in the league, Roger Davies made a bet that in one Quidditch season, the men would earn more money fund-raising than the women, and would still beat the Holyhead Harpies for the Quidditch League Cup. If Davies's bet fails, the Holyhead Harpies get to handpick seven of the male Quidditch players in the league to play against and beat. And the men would have to be naked. But if the men won, they get to play the Harpies and the ladies will be the ones taking it off.

So what have the men decided on their fund-raising? Naked Quidditch. Inspired by the consequences of the bet, it was decided that the best men in the league would be judged picked to design a calendar. Witch Weekly Magazine jumped at the chance to sponsor the fundraiser, providing the judges, locations, equipment and photographers free of charge. Just as long as they got full access to all the fresh scoops and gossip.

2006 is a big year for Quidditch. It is the second World Cup to be held since the Great War against the Dark Lord. This time the host country is France, and it will be held in Paris. The new stadium is being built, and players from all over the world are coming to train and practice. The Country’s teams are being formed: the best of the best to represent their countries and take home Quidditch Glory on the World Stage.

But there is something threatening the peace of the Wizarding World. Lately the Ministry have been receiving complaints from store merchants in Knockturn Alley of break ins and graffiti defacing their places of business and how the Aurors have not done much to stop it. The one connection between all these incidents are that the victims are former Slytherins who may or may not have had affiliations to Death Eaters in the past. The incidents have not been widely published to diminish any panic. But the vandalism have been increasing, and the graffiti growing severe. The most recent scrawl saying, Snakes must die.

New Frontiers
a nu!Trek rpg

(holds open now; game opens 01/03/11; more notes on what's up here)

The year is 2259 and Captain James T. Kirk has recently embarked on his first long term space assignment commanding the U.S.S. Enterprise. Their ongoing mission is to explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations and to boldly go where no one has gone before.

It's the same story we all know-- only different. The crew is younger, less experienced and their universe has been altered from what we knew. In other words: this isn't just your parent's fandom anymore. This is a bold new era for the characters we know and love.

So if you like good writing, fun adventures, crazy shenanigans or even just sci-fi in general, come check us out! We won't bite-- honest.
