It's October 2010, a year and a half after a global outbreak of a new strain of influenza. The virus mutated. There is almost no one left. A group of survivors found each other and started to rebuild, settling in the Sonoma Valley, the heart of California wine country and one of the richest agricultural areas of America. The Wizarding World has seen its fair share of suffering, such as the reign of Lord Voldemort that occurred not once, but twice. But, as it was foreseen, good triumphed over evil and the world gained peace. It seemed to be everlasting for witches and wizards everywhere, a great relief to those who feared the worst in the midst of rebuilding. Twenty-five years later, someone now threatens to destroy the peace that has come to be, though not in such a way that would strike fear in the general public. It's much worse: Hogwarts has a new Headmaster and the students aren't going to like him.
Tiberius Ogden was just appointed the position of Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the summer, the former Headmaster, Matthew Harrison, having abruptly retired when he suddenly came upon a very large sum of money. The Ogden name is famous for its liquor, though Tiberius has no interest in making drunks out of his peers. No, Tiberius Ogden followed another path, one of strict behavior that came with wielding a firm hand rather than a tap. A retired Hit Wizard, Tiberius has known a life of hardship and determination and believes that today's youth are becoming weak-minded prats. As a way to change this, he quickly took up the position Headmaster Harrison wished to discard.
Students will be in for quite the shock when they return to school to have their yearly start of term feast. Not only are they receiving a new Headmaster, but he comes with a whole new set of rules - rules so numerous in count that a book of them was created - something each student will find at their seat.

The year is 2023 and Hogwarts’ first year under the reign of its new, tyrannical Headmaster, Tiberius Odgen, has come and gone. Students are free to enjoy their hard-earned summer beyond the reach of their stern faculty and archaic standards of conduct, no longer victims of dictations regarding everything from the volume of their laughter to the proximity they must maintain from the lakeshore (and members of the opposite sex!). The older students leaving their seventh years behind them enjoy this time with a sense of nostalgia and excitement as they prepare to enter the next phase of adulthood; some seeking employment and others leaning toward the option of tertiary education. Yes, slowly but surely, the Wizarding World has come to mirror its Muggle counterpart by founding Wizarding Universities, with Britain’s two establishments located in Scotland and England promising to turn determined academics into the kings and queens of tomorrow. But summer will only last so long. For all the younger kids, from fifth year to seventh, it’s only a matter of time before Hogwarts’ classrooms are filled with new sets of teenagers bombarded with rules and regulations, and a cross, ex-Hit Wizard Headmaster, who does not tolerate any kind of folly. Welcome to a world of exciting night life, perfect weather, simple and luxurious pleasures, and all the excitement or rest and relaxation one could ever want. Founded by Liam Sypher in 1970,this secluded island off the East coast of the United States boasts a world-renowned resort, spa, medical center, exclusive housing, private school, college, a gorgeous natural waterfall for which the island gets its name, and a Las Vegas-like nightlife, with a downtown strip known simply as "Vice Alley" that's brimming with four star hotels, restaurants, clubs, shopping, and casinos. Visitors and residents can expect the convenience of the very best of anything their heart desires at their fingertips, twenty-four hours a day. Why, some say it's so wonderful there that you'll hardly notice the high murder and suicide rate, or the ghosts that haunt nearly every business and home, or the fact that Mr. Sypher isn't quite right... And so what if some of the people are a little strange? There's all the reason in the world to come there, and no reason at all to ever leave again. For anything.In fact, it's really best for some if they don't even try.

What if after the fateful three-way duel of 1899, Gellert Grindelwald did not flee England alone? What if he was somehow able to convince his friend Albus Dumbledore to accompany him--to seek out their ambition of taking over the world and controlling it for the greater good?
The Neuen Assistentenauftrag presently controls the majority of the European continent, administered jointly by Chancellor Grindelwald and the Lord Protector Albus Dumbledore. The disciplinary excesses of the Chancellor seem to be held in relative check by the Lord Protector, who is regarded as fondly as the Chancellor is feared. Within the NAA, the highest offense is treason. Those who are able to conform to its laws enjoy the all the freedoms and privileges offered in the world free of the Statute of Secrecy. Britain's integration into the NAA in 1970 was the source of much division within the British magical population. Some argued in favor of allying for the economic benefits and the ideological tenants of egalitarianism within the wizarding community, while others protested yielded power to what appeared to be an increasingly dictatorial regime.
In 1978, the British Ministry of Magic operates as a loyal satellite of the NAA. Territories of the NAA are secretly policed by a German-based military division, the Order of the Phoenix, who see little difference between dissent and disloyalty. Over the past few years, an underground resistance has begun to arise in England, a resistance whose acts are becoming increasingly more daring as the death toll of the NAA continues to rise.
