The little college town is growing, and becoming home to more and more people all the time. Some of them have no idea how they came to arrive, and some can never go home. As the University gets darker with new arrivals harboring less than happy intentions, so does the city. It is now home to metahumans, vampires, humans, demons, ghosts, aliens and even celestial beings. All of them with defined morals (or none, for that matter) and each with an allegiance. Those without a chosen allegiance are considered fair game, as both sides subconsciously prepare. There is a constant battle for good and evil in this town, and only one side can prevail. Most people overlook these statements made by the media, because most of Asheville's residents live there because it was named one of the top seven places to live in the US, it's location in the mountains and surrounding areas is ideal, and life moves at a slower pace in the South. Little do people know that the first two statements are true, and Asheville has been rumored to sport some serious supernatural activity. For many years supernatural creatures of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds have been migrating to this city in the Blue Ridge Mountains. None of them can quite put their finger on why they are drawn there, but there is a pull that they just can't ignore. Between the original birth of the city atop a Native American burial ground, to the trapped souls of those who lost their lives in the cave in, Bullhead City has become a large tourist attraction for those seeking a good ghost story. Some say the place is still haunted by the ghosts of the dead, looking for revenge on the blood thirsty Cahill family. Others say it's just a story. Wanda Maxinoff went insane when she had found out that she couldn't have children and started to play with realties where she could. Magneto worked with Charles Xaiver and Dr. Strange to help cure Wanda of the delusions she was having but she was starting to become very, very dangerous. Meanwhile Charles Xaiver and the X-Men called a meeting with the Avengers to talk about possibly killing Wanda to save the world. There was a lot of arguing but in the end they did agree on killing Wanda, unfortunately Quicksilver overheard the whole conversation and ran back to warn Wanda convincing her to create a universe where Mutants were in control and the family Magnus ruled supreme. The world went white and no one at all remembered what life was like before this utopia was created except for Wolverine and Layla Miller. What if Wolverine and Layla Miller never came to the conclusion that there was something wrong? What if they never went around waking people up from this wonderful mutant utopia where the House of Magnus ruled? Our goal is to bring the 'old GJ feeling' back. Gellert Grindelwald killed Albus Dumbledore on a muggle street and rose to power. Nothing is like it should be. It wasn't long before Grindelwald extended his power to the muggle world as well as the magical world. Halfbloods, muggleborns, and even muggles live in fear. Breaking boundaries and rewriting old laws, he controlled everything he could see. Unhappy with just that, he stretched his power, spanning countries. The Class of the Chrysanthemum rose early against the dark dictator, only to be broken into factions when their leader, Cassiopeia Black, met her untimely death at the end of Grindelwald's wand. Still the Class of the Chrysanthemum fought on in factions, not knowing who to trust. It's war, but no one seems to know it. Set seventy years after his initial take over in 2000, the new millennium, some people still hold hope for the future, but some have given up entirely.
