It was established for the sons of the Wizarding Elite, during the French Revolution to keep the noble sons save from the lower classes, so they could prosper in the future. A Modern Fairy Tale RPG For as long as anyone can remember, the City has always been one of the largest metropolitan centers in the world. It has had its share of glory and decline, but none so great as the age in which Oz Corp was first founded and what followed after. Michael Ozma was no man of magic, but he might as well have been for the technological wonders he brought to the people of the City. He invented a software interface so advanced it seemed uncrackable and reshaped the corporate world in the City. Even thirty-six years after his death, his revolutionary ideas are still inspiring work on Oz Corps newest water-powered engine. Now, Ozma's three surviving daughters rule over this once great Metropolis, and the Gilded Age is long past. OzCorp has become corrupt, and the City has fallen from it's glory days. Crime and drugs now rule the streets, though some aristocrats still live above it all. Inspired by folk-lore and fairy-tales, Not So Far Away is a unique Role-Playing World that incorporates characters from fairytale, folklore, and mythology from around the world and brings them into this ever-expanding universe. In the end, Voldemort fell at the hands of Harry Potter, but the victory was not without severe consequences. With the smoke clearing and wizarding England in ruins, the first survivors began to slowly show their faces and began to return to their lives. But after years of knowing or ignoring the darkness, it might not be as easy as they'd like to return to the light. Return to Hogwarts. Return to the place of the final battle and see what the war has left behind.
