Welcome to the Lancaster Antarctic Compound Wait, why are there naked people on the ice? Established 50 years ago, this research station on the peninsula of British Antarctic Territory began studying the anomaly called in scientific circles as the Umberkant. No one knows how long it has happened but through the Umberkant people have been deposited on the ice, naked and without DNA. They are fictional creations of novelists and screenwriters in the flesh in the waking world. No one knows how this takes place which is the reason you are needed here in the Lancaster Antarctic Compound. We are working to research all possible causes of this strange event, from the physical to the emotional and mental to the possible paranormal and beyond. Come take a visit. Join the ranks of those living, breathing and working this mystery.
Just be sure you pay attention to the warning sirens. Don't get caught outside...Niveus is a slightly dark sci-fantasy. It is loosely plotted around canon characters being thrust into an original character world with the added elements of secrecy, dangerous icy setting, and the unknown. It has been many years since Voldmort's defeat, the British wizarding society is at peace. Kingsley Shacklebolt has kept his position of Minister of Magic, Minerva McGonagall resides as the Hogwarts Headmistress. The society as a whole is happy, well, and prosperous. Hogwarts has long since been repaired and fully active, students are content. Life is good... All was well.
Or so they thought.
All's Not Well is a next-generation Harry Potter roleplay game. The story started on the first day of school for the 2023-2024 school year. In present time, this roleplay started on June 1st, 2009. This RP has drama, hilarity, and serious plot combined into one. New plot-lines up every week.

It has been twenty-four years since the defeat of what was once known as the greatest dark wizard of all time, but it looks like Hogwarts will have to go through another trial. Headmistress McGonagall has noticed the behaviour in her students and worries: the house unity has been lacking the past few years. More and more students tend to stick to their own, and while there are a select few that have no problem interacting with other houses, the unity that should have improved over time has only worsened. So while her students have all gone home for winter break, she has come up with a plan to unite them once more; but will the students be willing? HELLO HURRICANE is a next generation Harry Potter game that revolves around the students and their interaction. Every month, there will be a inter-house challenge that will unite the houses. You can choose out of one of the many PREMADES available. But remember: these premades do not define your character at all times; they're just there to add some fun to the game. Within two years, the whole of wizarding society has become unrecognizable. In the end, Voldemort fell at the hands of Harry Potter, but the victory was not without severe consequences. With the smoke clearing and wizarding England in ruins, the first survivors began to slowly show their faces and began to return to their lives. But after years of knowing or ignoring the darkness, it might not be as easy as they'd like to return to the light.
Return to Hogwarts. Return to the place of the final battle and see what the war has left behind. Students returning will be shocked to realize that their houses were destroyed and they must unite for the reconstruction effort. Gryffindors in Slytherin house? Ravenclaw in Hufflepuff? How can prejudices be forgiven so easily? |
