The Kingdom of Frell is at peace.

Though the so-called Golden Age of King Char and Queen Ella is long over- so long ago now that few are still alive who can remember it- life continues on much as it ever did. Merchants travel the lands far and wide, finding new and exotic goods to bring back to Greenville, the town just outside the royal palace. Greenville's markets are thriving, and most of the town's inhabitants pay little mind to the castle looming in the distance.

That is, of course, until The Gray Death appears. There is no known cure. Sufferers initially feel very weak, and are soon not even able to get out of bed. Overcome by fever, their complexions turn gray and they die. Still, Greenville believes it is safe- there are just rumors of the illness, and being so close to the castle, they're safe, right?


Wrong.

The illness knows no boundaries, a fact that is brought starkly to light when the King of Frell contracts the disease and dies a short time later. The King leaves behind a land in limbo- his wife, the Queen, is trying her level best to keep power from the hands of their immature son. Heroes search for a cure, trying to avenge their fallen King. And life in Greenville continues on, if a bit more cautiously.

Happily ever after was never a guarantee.

Fair is an original character role playing game inspired by Ella Enchanted, Fairest, and The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine. The game takes place in the world created by those books.

Wanted Characters

Gabrielle Forrester is missing her older brother, Sir Domenic. A loyal knight with many years of service, Domenic is well-respected within the community- and much missed by his younger sister.

Bess Guidon is missing her husband, Sir Tristan. Bess is apprenticed to the town's healer- who, himself, is sick with the Gray Death. If that wasn't enough, her marriage seems to be on the rocks- Tristan seems to love her much more than she loves him, despite how he bends over backward to make her happy.

Ginger and Lavender Thornburgh are missing their younger brother, Gareth. He works in the family's herb shop, but the girls have a feeling he isn't quite happy with the domestic life.

Abigail Hall is just starting to get her life together, finally- she's Abigail Madison now, having recently married her childhood sweetheart, after ten years apart. But one thing still haunts her- her missing younger sister, Eleanor. The two were separated as children, and Abby still wonders what became of her.

Madame Besoir is not well-respected in the community, per se, but she is definitely well-feared. An intimidating woman, the owner of the local brothel, she's power-hungry and not to be trifled with. At least, she'd like to think so.

Serenity Somerset escaped her life of privilege some ten years ago, and has been working as a barmaid ever since. She's settled well into her new life, but her sisters Grace, Hope, Faith, Blythe and Verity Somerset are still out there, somewhere, and it can't be long before her past catches up with her.

Lady Agnes Bennett, the Queen's niece, was born deaf. She's been kept heavily secluded from the rest of the castle, and only a few know of her condition- including her servants, Ginger and Marta.

Twins Genevieve and Penelope Brisbois are missing their older brother, Bernard. Hardly the man of the family, Bernard caters to their mother's every whim- he's a bit of a dandy, but he does aim to please.

spliffy: harry potter, next generation

Under the warm sunshine, another summer is coming to a close and there are students eagerly (or not so eagerly) returning to Hogwarts; the girls are loitering, the boys are ogling, and the gossip is lingering, as is always the case in a group of teenagers. Love faces off with sex, grades face off with parties, and truth faces off with falsities in the everyday drama at Hogwarts.

However, since the Battle of Hogwarts, the Ministry of Magic has been slowly working on new protective measures to prevent such an event from ever threatening Great Britain's schools again. As years have passed, new restrictive spells have been cast on the grounds of Hogwarts. At the beginning of this school year, under the decree of Rufus Scrimgeour, a radically developed charm will be cast over the entire grounds as a means to prevent the approach of evil spirits of any sort. Unbeknownst to the returning students and staff, however, this spell has a glaring flaw which has not yet been revealed; it cuts off all contact with the outside world.

As students and teachers are separated from their parents, their families and the rest of Great Britain, what will they do to cope? Can they band together in support, or will they attack one another in bouts of cabin fever? Though all faculty members are hard at work to find a counter-spell, it may not come fast enough to save some friendships, relationships, or even lives.

Oh, and there's spliff.

Have you ever asked yourself: What if? What if the future could be altered? What if people didn’t die when “it was their time”? What if they lived on, having been able to escape fate?

In September 1979, a young and scared man had been fated to die at the terrifying hands of Inferi. While he lay, cold and wet, believing his worst memories were happening right in that moment, he felt a warm hand. The House Elf, sobbing and rocking back and forth, had been found by Albus Dumbledore. While the old wizard couldn’t get a straight answer from the Elf, he did catch snippets of what was said: Master Regulus! Dying! Cave! In that moment, Dumbledore knew what he must do. He could not leave the young man to his death. He had to find a way to save him.

Dumbledore reached Regulus with little time to spare. The man was writhing on the floor, delusional and sobbing. And in his hand, he held a locket. That curiosity that so often came along with Albus Dumbledore had to be suppressed as he looked around for anything that might help the young man. That’s when he saw the cup. Picking it up quickly, he immediately conjured up water. But the cup wouldn’t hold it. Every time the water was about to touch the cup it would vanish. He was left with only one thing to do. In one swift motion, he dipped his hand into the cold water. The effects were instantaneous: The water practically erupted as the Inferi seemed to come to life. But first, Dumbledore made sure the man received the drink.

Even as the first drops met his lips, Regulus began to feel the delusions slipping away. He felt his sanity returning to him and it was a moment before he realized what was happening: Albus Dumbledore was fighting off Inferi that were threatening to attack. Once his mind was cleared, Regulus joined in the fight. He remembered the little boat and wondered if they would both be able to fit in it. They certainly couldn’t swim back, and he had tried Apparition. But even that hadn’t worked.

But he needn’t figure out a plan, for Dumbledore had already figured it out. “Get in the boat!” Came the booming voice and Regulus was quick to obey. He entered the boat and when he had squeezed to the opposite end he realized the boat was moving. It had left without the older wizard. He had tried to stop the boat, but it wouldn’t seize its journey back, and when he had exited it on the opposite bank it returned immediately to the little island. Regulus waited impatiently and before too long, the boat was returning with a still-fighting Dumbledore in its center. The boat docked, Dumbledore stepped out, and the two of them ran for the entrance to the cave.

Regulus could not return to his old life. He could not return home and expect to see his parents again, because he had betrayed the Dark Lord and Kreacher had already told them he was dead and he would surely be found out for his betrayal. Instead, he was allowed to stay at Hogwarts until he was able to figure out a plan.

It is now December 1979 and with Dumbledore’s help, Regulus was able to hide his identity and begin a new life. The tides had turned and while he was once a firm follower of Lord Voldemort, his beliefs had changed. Within a matter of months he had been allowed into the Order of the Phoenix as a full-fledged member. Now, with his help the Order just may be able to crack the secrets. They may be able to save those whose lives would surely be lost.

675 AE. A premonition of doom and destruction, but with no one listening, Hazel, and his seer brother Fiver, leads the way to freedom on the rundown, abandoned Watership. Fiver has blurry ideas of where they need to go : somewhere safe, a new home, a planet, far away from the New England galaxy, the rule of Frith and Rainbow Corporation and the greed and war mongering of the Elil. The trouble, however, is getting there.

Work differently


Assembled are the usual band of freaks and geeks. The aliens the critters the mutants or just the fanboys who have knowledge of the paranormal - and more. They make up the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense, they protect a world that generally have little idea they exist. As founder Professor Trevor Bruttenholm once said, when things go bump in the night, the BPRD bumps back.




The Bureau is a multifandom agency RPG. Any characters from sci-fi/fantasy fandoms can be played, and you do not need to have a knowledge of the Hellboy universe.

Golden Apples Premise

It's the Great Escape! June 19th, 2000. Death Eaters breakout from Azkaban the same night the Ministry throws a gala event. The hard work of all the Aurors has gone down the drain as the Prophet reports the breakout - with minimal details. No one knows what's happening, and where the escaped Death Eaters are. Why is the Ministry withholding information? And now that they're free, what's their next move?

Golden Apples is a post Deathly Hallows Harry Potter RPG that opened June 19th with a gala...and a prison break. Great way to start off a game! Plot is kicking off now, because the Ministry's hiding more than the names of the DE's who broke out. What on earth are the golden apples, and why are they important?

Wanted Characters

We need Death Eaters! Younger DE's, the older crowd, anyone left alive after the end of Death Hallows is eligible and eagerly sought. Draco's all alone right now; where's everyone else who escaped from prison with him? We need more DE's to help keep the plot active. And who doesn't want to have the bad guys around?
