Game Opens July 13th
Water is scarce in the wastelands, the land around us a virtual desert, clean water is an even more precious commodity. They say there's a processing plant in the D.C. Ruins that can change that. D.C. is a long way away though and there's no guarantee they'd want more settlers moving in. You have a choice, you can try to book it across the wastelands and hope what you find isn't death, or you can stay here, make the best of what we've got and hope that the caravans are bringing us truth when it comes to making the technology our own. We'll see.
A world in ruins. A world in which humans are still struggling 200 years after war brought about a nuclear holocaust. A world where mutants, ghouls, mutated animals and humans all struggle to exist in an irradiated wasteland. This is Aftermath.
Aftermath is an RPG set in the ruins of what was once Atlanta, Georgia. Based on the Fallout 3 universe, Aftermath follows the lives of the characters within the realm. Vault Dwellers who have come into the wastelands through various means, Wastelanders the children of former dwellers and other survivors, and Ghouls are all playable characters within the realm.

But what happened after the war?
This story is well known -- it has been told and retold thousands of times, passed from person to person, spreading around the world like a plague. The story of the great savior of the Wizarding World, the Golden Boy, Harry Potter. Everyone knows the stories of how he defeated the Dark Lord when he was only a baby and everyone knows how his parents sacrificed themselves to save him. Everyone knows of his time at Hogwarts, his best friends Hermione and Ron, they know of his trials during the Triwizard Tournament and his claims that Lord Voldemort had killed Cedric Diggory. Yes, they all had heard about his tales of the Dark Lord returning.
What they didn’t know, was that those stories, just like all the others, were true.
The war began raging in Harry’s sixth year and both the Order and the Ministry lost too many good men. The fight lasted two long years, but the outcome was the same: the good guys won and the bad guys lost. That’s how all fairy tales end. But that isn’t always where they really end. Such devastating wars always leave deep scars.. Not only physically, but mentally and emotionally, as well. The Sanctuary was started up just a year after the war ended, for those who needed an escape from the horrors that were left in its wake. It was begun as a place that people could go to rehabilitate themselves. People were allowed to check themselves in as they saw fit, and other people were brought against their will, or as an alternative to Azkaban, if their crimes were not as dire as some.
The only problem is, once you check in, you can’t check yourself out.

In this game, the events of books 6 and 7 never happened. Why? We didn’t like the way things hashed out. Here, we give you an opportunity to write out the fate of your character the way you like to. The good guys won, the bad guys lost, and you can take the fate of your own character from there and run with it. Tonks didn’t have to die, Hermione doesn’t have to marry Ron, Snape might have lived, and Neville might still be the same screw-up of a boy. Everything from Book 5 and down remains cannon.. But the sky’s the limit, after that.
This is to be a very active RPG. If you cannot post in threads at least once a day, you need not apply. - Cannon OCs welcome!

There was a time when the Olympians reigned as supreme beings from their thrones on Olympus. When there was no one who would or could challenge them for their dominion of earth and sea and sky. This golden age seemed to last forever as the Gods and Goddesses of Olympus loved and fought and quarreled among themselves, making the world turn, the seasons change. They saw the rise and fall of cities, states, and then, empires. And through it all they were loved and hated but always worshiped. There had always been pockets of Others, strangers to their lands who held to false beliefs in strange deities, but the Gods and Goddesses laughed and scorned them from on high, sending them plagues and punishments to torment them and sting their pride. As Rome grew into the secular power, the Olympians smiled and grew complacent.
And then, in 391 AD, the Gods and Goddesses received a Mortal Blow. Their own high priest, the Pontifex Maximus, the Emperor Constantine, declared Christianity the State Religion, outlawing paganism and making the worship of the Gods and Goddesses of Olympus and their Roman identities illegal.
Now, the year is 2009, and they have been reborn as mortals, their souls returned from the void by the worship brought of a faithful few. As they reawaken to their memories, how will they survive in this new world? How will they reclaim what they lost?
