[24 May 2009|04:38pm] LET'S CRUISE MOD JOURNAL | PLAYED BYS | ABOUT THE SHIP | ABOUT CORPORATE Since June 2007, Let's Cruise has provided an active and stable home for hundreds of original characters. As we we enter our third year next month, we are looking to expand our membership and broaden our horizons just a bit more with some new faces and fresh blood. The game has two settings - a cruise ship traveling the world, and a corporate office based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The characters in both settings communicate with one another via a journaling system, and there is occasional plot bringing both groups together. Many positions are open and available, and we welcome any and all PBs. Our application is simple, and our main focus is on developing characters and having fun with them. Adds are scheduled for tonight, Sunday, May 24th at 11pm EST, and they take place every Sunday. We're very laidback and very active, and we'd love to have you join us! [24 May 2009|04:41pm] Mount Desert Island ; A Supernatural Game Set on the incredibly picturesque Mount Desert Island (the largest island of the coast of Maine) in a world that may have some small and dramatic differences from our own world - the main one being that vampires walk among us at night and have come public about their existence & lycanthropy is a pathogen that the CDC tracks and is mentioned from time to time on CNN. While humans struggle to come to terms with this knowledge, other creatures that most believe are just works of fiction are contemplating making themselves known as well, while others are comfortable in the shadows. As the game begins characters will likely be affected (or at least might have reaction to) both local and national events that will help shape game wide plot. McDermott, an actor and former vaudeville performer, the college offers a top-rated, exclusive education primarily focused on theater, art, and creative writing. It was named one of the top-ten arts colleges in the country, and has gained national recognition for its theater department in particular. It is a small school, with an undergraduate enrollment of less than 1500 students, and a graduate theater program with an enrollment of only 250. The consequences of using the red matter was a backlash, but instead of just creating black holes and ripping holes in the space time continuum, it's also ripped holes in the dimensional continuum and it's pulling people into the new world. All sorts of people with no real home, arriving with anything on them at the time and a communicator that would attract the attention of the Enterprise. these are the voyages of the starship enterprise.
