| It's always summer somewhere. Summer is the season of style in Picturesque. The little hamlet in the Florida Keys always goes all out; backyard barbecues, company luaus, red carpet volleyball tournaments, hoity-toity dinner parties in private villas.
But summer is also the season for hurricanes. Times are tough, the cost of living is high, and big business is reaching out to take over our town -- for better or worse. The old money high atop the hills want their playground back; it's theirs. The nouveau riche don't see what the problem is with a little modernization. The place could use a butt-kick into the 21st century. Gossip, intrigue, manipulation, and backstabbing are hanging over the town like storm clouds. There are whispers through the south that something epochal is going on. The newborns of Seattle were nothing compared to what's been rumored to be happening this time. Talk of a group of immortal children being created and of Maria, the woman who managed to escape the Volturi's punishment for her participation in the Vampire Wars of the South. She's been quietly biding her time in Mexico, slowly gathering up an army of her own, one that rivals and surpasses the Guard. She's found herself at the head of a cult like following of Vampires that have each been scorned by the Volturi Royalty themselves. Joined by the Romanian's who have long since been awaiting the moment for Volterra to be overthrown, this group of Vampire's are looking for a fight.
The Volturi itself faces complications of their own, and what will happen when their loyalty to each other is tested? What will become of the men that have kept order amongst the Vampire world for over a thousand years when the guard that they count on leaves their post? Who will they turn to to keep their numbers strong and present a united front?
time_between is a post Eclipse, complaint game, focusing on writing an alternate ending to the events that happened after the third novel in Stephanie Meyer's saga Twilight.
Open as of April 1st with a ton of interaction already in play!
Currently casting: Alec and Demitri of the Volturi, Liam of the Irish Coven, Carmen and Eleazar of the Denali Coven, Sam Uley, Embry Call and Quil Ateara, Charlie Swan, Sue Clearwater, Humans, and Nomads, particularly Peter!
A stable core of players have dedicated themselves to making this an active, exciting game with a lot of plot for all characters, and not just certain groups of species. Ages 18+ |

Where nursery rhymes aren't just in books, it's where they are alive. It's where you can find Humpty Dumpty sitting on a wall, and an old lady who lives in a shoe. If one could step into the world of fiction, you'd find yourself in Reading. Life here can be magical and terrible all at once. Reality in Reading is not always realistic. And things are not always as they seem.
Underneath the sunny exterior lies a much darker Reading. The only thing bigger than the rhymes themselves, are the crimes that seem to surround them.
