An epidemic of organ failures leads millions to their deaths. What follows is nothing less of chaos. With thousands of people dying off daily, graveyards and cemeteries become over populated. Mass burial grounds are placed beneath cities to keep up with the death toll.
Out of all the tragedy a savior emerges.
A company fitfully being called GeneCo offers transplants, 'replacements' and genetic alteration without failure. What's even better? GeneCo offers "organ financing". Cheating death, people are finally able to receive their surgeries without fear of dying...( for now. )

As of 2005, the population in the city was at 184,422 and is still growing today! Little Rock, North Little Rock, and Conway all make up what is called the Little Rock-North Little Rock-Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is an area with a population of 666, 401 people as of 2007. Located near the geographic center of Arkansas, Little Rock derives its name from a small rock formation on the south bank of the Arkansas River called la Petite Roche ("the little rock"). The "little rock" was used by early river traffic as a landmark and became a well-known river crossing.
There happens to be a lot of different things that can be done in the Natural State, as it has been called for many years. You can do anything from go to the many museums to the fairly new Clinton Library located by the Arkansas River Bridge. One the other side of the River Bridge, you’ll be about to see the Riverfront Amphitheater, where many concerts and festivals, such as EdgeFest and Riverfest happen during the summer time. Also you’ll see the Peabody Hotel, Alltel Arena, where many concerts and events happen. When no concerts are happening and you still need something to do, there are always the shopping centers and the malls located in the area such as McCain Mall, located in North Little Rock and Park Plaza Mall, then there is many stores within the area such as Wal-Mart, Dillard’s, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Best Buy, and Sam’s Club.Then again, if shopping really isn't your thing or you just don't feel like going than you can always go to the movies at The Rave Theater or go to the Little Skate Center, which is both Roller Skating and Ice Skating in once building! If you’re looking for a place to eat then you’re in luck! There are many places in Little Rock for all your food needs such as Olive Garden, Outback Steak House, Shorty Small, McDonalds, Wendy’s Sonic, Pizza Hut, and many others!

The fading stench of sulfur is still lingering in the air when you wake up, diroriented and groggy, the gentle rain aiding to bring you back to consciousness. Wherever you were, whether you were sleeping or simply resting your eyes at the time, is long gone.
Now, you're in the middle of the forest and beside the fact that you were one place last you remember and are now in completely another, something else still feels off. On your person is nothing except a small "survival kit" with an unfamiliar logo; two words in Latin: Vas Captio. The kit contains soggy matches, a packet of Tic Tacs, a pair of tube socks, a bottle of water, and a journal with a pen taped to it. When you finally feel together enough to get up and walk, making your way out of the forest, you come upon an abandoned village.

You wake up to the smell of smoke.
In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus.
You wake up to the crackle of dead airwaves.
Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. The Quarantine continued. The Americas lay abandoned. Empty.
