Tired of those games that are purely meant for shipping purposes and barely focus on the events of the first war? We are, and that is exactly why we have created Waddiwasi.
Tidbits of information is all we have been given, tiny nuances to sustain us, but what about the fine details? What really happened during the First War when You-Know-Who was at his peak and the Wizarding World was barely staying above water? The individual stories of those during that time and the conflicts they had were never written, but they certainly existed. Students just out of Hogwarts viewed the world with endless possibilities; some acquired jobs, found a place to live, settled down and had a family, while others made their parents proud, took the Dark Mark, and joined an organisation which promised to restore the wizarding world to its former glory.
So join us and let's write their history, a complete history, of the events that happened that affected the fate of the wizarding world forever.
Wanted: Regulus Black, Gideon Prewett, Marlene McKinnon, Narcissa Malfoy, Lucius Malfoy, Rabastan Lestrange, Mary MacDonald, Rita Skeeter, Hestia Jones, Amelia Bones, Bartimus Crouch Sr., Molly Weasley, Arthur Weasley, and more! If they were alive during the 70's, we would love to have them! Original characters are considered. |

"Very superstitious, writing's on the wall Very superstitious, ladders 'bout to fall Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass Seven years of bad luck, the good things in your past
When you believe in things that you don't understand Then you suffer Superstition ain't the way." - Stevie Wonder; Superstitious
II. Not much really goes on in Superstition. They say it used to be Native Land. Caught between mountain and desert, one would think it would be an amazing place to grow up. Nah. It's just boring.
To human eyes.
Underneath the mundane surface of southwest small town, Superstition is a haven of activity that most people only know from stories and legend. Nightmarish creatures and unwitting people as neighbors, greeting each other at the mailbox, their kids going to school with things from story books, and blissfully unaware their co-workers might be not so human.
_superstition revolves around the kids at the local high school, both human and non. It's a modern, fantasy RPG, flexible to all characters and creatures of a fantastic nature.

〈〈 GAME INFO RESERVES TAKEN APPLICATION WANTED 〉〉 | | some are born to sweet delight, some are born to endless night. -William Blake In very recent years, Japanese scientists have invented a 'synthetic blood' that is capable of fully sustaining a vampire's diet. Sort of like a vampiric 'slim fast'; the drink, now mass marketed under the name TruBlood, has allowed many vampires to come out of the shadows and into mainstream society.
Now that humans are no longer an entrée, vampires have "come out of the coffin" to demand their place in society complete with equal rights and citizenship. Religious leaders and government officials around the world have chosen their sides and a full-on political war is in progress.
Feeling that they have sat back and watched these battles long enough, many powerful and ancient vampires begin to migrate toward the lush and decadent city of New Orleans, one of the country's strongest vampiric hot spots, where they are drawn by the call of their brethren to meet and discuss what these changes may mean for immortal "life" as they know it. But what will come of such an influx of power and what will it mean for the Vampire Rights Movement? Some are willing to give up the lifeblood that fuels their existence in order to join human society and others will try and take back the night. Which side will you be on?
Sanguinarias is a (limited) cross-fandom roleplay loosely based upon HBO's True Blood.

Connotation: Two Characters Until Opening! |
[10 Apr 2009|02:13pm] |
CONNOTATION MORE THAN JUST A WAR GAMEPremise | Available Characters | Who We'd Like To SeeThe problem with most post-Hogwarts marauders' era games is that there's such a large focus on the war and how events affect the war. It's all dark, admittedly a little plotless the majority of the time, and can be a bit of drag. "Oh. More mass murders. I guess that'll be... interesting."
At Connotation, we're going to change that. The war is going on, but it isn't the main focus, giving room for more potential plot-wise. And not just the mod's plot - yours.
That's right. Here's your chance to get involved with shaping the plot.
Muggles bumbling into the wizarding world, secret underground movements, kidnapping, and the search for the hallows - they're all being thrown around as potential pieces of the plot and you can be part of the discussion.ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS JOIN.Wanted: Get on applying. Sirius and Remus needs their IDKBFFs James and Lily. We could also use Death Eaters, who will actually have things to in this game! Carrows, Lestranges, and Malfoys - oh my! I suppose a Severus Snape might be nice, too. Or even Travers, Avery, and Yaxley. Molly and Andromeda could also desperately use their husbands and Fabian and Gideon would no doubt love to have their step-brother around. And Amelia... well, she's not quite the same without Edgar. Oh, and who doesn't love a good Ministry official like the Longbottoms and Amos Diggory? We sure do! |

 | Marriage Games: | "All I can really say about marriage games is that I was never interested in them because they just seem like instant shipping games. Don't want to work at a relationship? Here! Have a marriage game!"-- Shell "An excuse to ship characters in unusual/nonsensical pairs whilst proving little other plot to help move the game along."-- Bee |
Marriage Games... We all know them and love to hate them. Really, do they serve a purpose? The only plot is putting two, usually ill matched, characters together. As for game wide plot? Pffffttt... Basically nonexistent. Though I have to say, there are moderators out there who try, though usually they fail. It is just so hard to keep those rabid shippers in line.
That is until now.
Welcome to Death Eater Reform Project! Join us as we merge this ill thought of genre with real, so solid you can almost feel it, plot. Want drama? We got it in truck loads. Want angst? If dear Harry's self loathing is not enough for you than come on, there is plenty to go around. You into those darker aspects of the human psyche? Oh yeah, we welcome those with open arms. You want to go around causing havoc? Well, we got an Underground Movement for you!
"OMG, why can't we all just get along and learn to love each other?!" HA! Yeah right. We're lucky if they don't kill each other.

Time Between: A Twilight RPG

"The Time has come for the great ones, the ones who have long since hindered our lives, keeping our identity secret, to fall. They do not believe in our race, in our freedom. Our kind has been turned in to the monsters that hide away until night. It's time to let us become the superior race we were created to be and let the humans know it is not God they should fear, but it us." - Maria |

"When I lived with the Volturi, I met two immortal children, so I know firsthand the appeal they had. Aro studied the little ones for many years after the catastrophe they'd caused was over. You know his inquisitive disposition; he was hopeful that they could be tamed. But in the end, the decision was unanimous: the immortal children could not be allowed to exist." - Carlisle |
There are whispers through the south that something epochal is going on. The newborns of Seattle were nothing compared to what's been rumored to be happening this time. Talk of a group of immortal children being created and of Maria, the woman who managed to escape the Volturi's punishment for her participation in the Vampire Wars of the South. She's been quietly biding her time in Mexico, slowly gathering up an army of her own, one that rivals and surpasses the Guard. She's found herself at the head of a cult like following of Vampires that have each been scorned by the Volturi Royalty themselves. Joined by the Romanian's who have long since been awaiting the moment for Volterra to be overthrown, this group of Vampire's are looking for a fight.
The Volturi itself faces complications of their own, and what will happen when their loyalty to each other is tested? What will become of the men that have kept order amongst the Vampire world for over a thousand years when the guard that they count on leaves their post? Who will they turn to to keep their numbers strong and present a united front?
time_between is a post Eclipse, complaint game, focusing on writing an alternate ending to the events that happened after the third novel in Stephanie Meyer's saga Twilight.
Open as of April 1st with a ton of interaction already in play!
Currently casting: Alec, Felix and Demitri of the Volturi, Siobhan and Liam of the Irish Coven, Sam Uley, Embry Call and Quil Ateara, Charlie Swan, and Nomads, particularly Peter!
A stable core of players have dedicated themselves to making this an active, exciting game with a lot of plot for all characters, and not just certain groups of species. Ages 18+ |

PREMISE |
You wake up to the smell of smoke.
In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus.
You wake up to the crackle of dead airwaves.
Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. The Quarantine continued. The Americas lay abandoned. Empty.

"….Voldemort's powerful now. You don't know who his supporters are, you don't know who's working for him and who isn't; you know he can control people so that they do terrible things without being able stop themselves. You're scared for yourself, and your family, and your friends. Every week, news comes of more deaths, more disappearances, more torturing … The Ministry of Magic's in disarray, they don't know what to do, they're trying to keep everything hidden from the Muggles, but meanwhile, Muggles are dying too. Terror everywhere … panic … confusion …"
Across Europe the Wizarding Community lies in fear. Voldemort and his followers are on the rise, leaving behind a reign of terror in their wake. As his numbers increase, Wizards begins to grow more uneasy, increasingly choosing to fall prey to his Empire, out of fear, unwilling to stand up and fight.
In spite of the increasing danger, a small group of vigilante Wizards has begun to pull ranks, daring to do what the Ministry fears to do; fight. The Order of the Phoenix is slowly growing into a force to be reckoned with, threatening not only Voldemort, but the Ministry itself.
Change is on the brink and the students of Hogwarts. No longer will they be safe behind the confines of the castle, unaware to the real dangers of the world. They will soon be forced to make their own loyalties known; a decision that will affect not only the rest of their lives, but the entire Wizarding World.
Amongst the darkness, these students are potentially the light needed to give the Order the man power to take on Voldemort’s forces. As both sides fight to gain support, one question lies: which side do you choose?
